About This Competition
Battle Of The Brave 9, Feb 7th-8th, 2025, is a 2-day, 4-person (MM/FF) fitness competition in support of Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTS (Post Traumatic Stress)
Our mission is to raise awareness and encourage support for the men and women who are suffering due to the sacrifices they made on our behalf.
Combat and trauma occurred in the line of duty, is just the beginning. Healing from those incidents is the true Battle Of The Brave.
This year we will have RX, Intermediate, and Scaled divisions.

Workouts
For time:
*Time cap: 2min
*If you do not complete the reroute in time, every bolt you complete will equal one second off of your time:
For Max Weight: 1 Cluster (Squat Clean into Thruster) + 1 Thurster
*On a minute clock, at 3,2,1, go the first person steps on the platform and hits the comlex of 1 Cluster into one Thruster. Athletes will rotate each minute. Each team member will have 2 attempts to perform the complex for MAX weight.
*Only 1 attempt per minute.
For time:
#2A: 30-20-10 Synchro Thrusters (115/85) (M/F Pair)
15-12-9 Rope Climbs (split between team as needed)
#2B: One team member rowing the entire time. If rowing stops, the work on 2A must stop.
*Rope Climbs/Rowing can be split between the team as needed.

25 Hand release Push-ups (T-style)

*2min rest then switch to part 2
*Masters/Int: Pull-ups. FR Lunge: (95/75).
Scaled: Jumping Pull-ups. FR Lunge: (75/55).
1 MM or FF team-"I go, you go"
AMRAP 9min:

100 cal AB
75 TTB
60 Hang Power Snatch (95/65)
45 Hang Power Clean (135/95)
30 Shoulder To Over Head (155/115)
All 4 team members will share the 100 cal bike and 75 toes-to-bar, breaking them up any way they want to.
The barbell movements always require a male/female pair to complete the synchro reps, these pairs can change during the workout
The barbells move forward at the end of each movement
Partner(s) must tag their teammate(s) at the start before they can come to the floor to perform the barbell movements.

RX: 95/65 Snatch, 135/95 Clean, 155/115 Shoulder to Overhead
Masters/Intermediate: 75/55 Snatch, 95/75 Clean, 135/95 Shoulder to Overhead
Scaled: 55/45 Snatch, 75/55 Clean, 95/75 Shoulder to Overhead
