About This Competition

The SneakyFit Summer Series is an inclusive, participatory, virtual, “fun run” style team event taking place on Saturday August 1st. The event will take place all over the world, coordinated into video conferencing calls, and broadcast live on the ArmenHammerTV YouTube Channel. You and your teammates will be each other’s partners and cheerleaders and you don’t need to be in the same room or even on the same continent. Start to finish, you’ll be working for less than 90 minutes with four total workouts: two partner workouts and two individual workouts. 


You can team up with anyone, anywhere. 


You don’t need to be in your partner’s physical presence to be on a team together, and you can participate in the Summer Series from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to the following pieces of equipment:

  • Barbell and weights (RX= 225lb for men, 155lb for women)
  • Pair of dumbbells (RX= 50s for men, 35s for women)
  • Concept2 rower
  • Jump rope

Teams will be made up of two members, with any combination of genders allowed (MM, MF, FF) and there are only two divisions: I AM TAKING THIS WAY TOO SERIOUSLY (aka RX) and THIS IS BASICALLY A MEME, WHATEVER (aka Scaled).


Two divisions, unlimited fun.


Each division will have cash prizes for the top 5 (total of $2000 in prize money), except they’ll be awarded for different things. The IATTWTS division will have prizes for ToP pErForMaNcE and the TIBAM,W will have prizes for the most clever (cleverest?) team name. If you want to be super serious and go for both the ToP pErForMaNcE and the most cleverest prizes, register twice, I don’t care.


As far as the workouts go, the IATTWTS division will have workouts written for Male and Female team members and will not offer any scaling. If either of your team members are planning to scale any workout, you’re gonna want to be in the TIBAM,W division.


The workouts for the TIBAM,W division will be scaled and accessible versions of the same workouts, but will “officially” be the same as the workouts in the IATTWTS division.

All around the world, all at the same time.


The event is scheduled for Saturday August 1st, registration opens up on July 17th and closes at 12pm CST on July 31st. The workouts will be released on July 21st, July 24th, July 27th, and July 30th. On the evening of the 31st, you'll receive confirmation of your time slot for your workout, the video call link you'll join if you'd like to be in on that action, and any further instructions and details necessary.


The virtual competition will take place on Saturday August 1st. The event will happen over three heats, taking place in the morning (9AM CST), at noon (12PM CST), and in the afternoon (3PM CST). When you register for the event, you'll indicate whether you prefer to be in the Morning crew, Noon crew, or Afternoon crew.

We'll be coordinating using a synchronized clock online, so everyone will know when they're set to go and all the workouts will occur at the same time regardless of potential lag on the video conferencing app.


If you decide to do the video call, you'll jump into our group call with everyone else who is competing at your time slot about 30 minutes prior to the start of your event. We'll go over any last minute questions or concerns, I'll start streaming our call onto my YouTube channel, and we're off to the races.


Scores and awards.


The leaderboard will be closed 24 hours after the last heat finishes, so you'll have about one full day to get your scores in.


The winners will be announced during a live awards stream on the ArmenHammerTV YouTube channel on Tuesday August 4th.

0-20 minutes, Partners A & B alternating rounds with Partner A beginning on 0 and Partner B beginning on 2:

E2M x 10:

24 sit ups, feet anchored in the dumbbells

12 dumbbell squats (50s, 35s)

AMRAP dumbbell shoulder-to-overhead

Submitted score = total shoulder-to-overhead for the team

Partner A’s rounds: 0, 4, 8, 12, 16
Partner B’s rounds: 2, 6, 10, 14, 18

25-32 minutes, Partner A:

5 rounds for time:

10 deadlifts (225/155)

10 lateral burpees

Submitted score = time. If no time, reps completed at cap.

35-50 minutes, Partner B:

For time:

2000m row

150 double unders

10 hang cleans, power or squat (225/155)

Submitted score = time. If no time, reps completed at cap.

52-68 minutes, Partners A & B:

*partner A starts at 52 minutes, partner B starts at 60 minutes

3 rounds for time:

15 push ups

10 single-arm dumbbell thrusters (50/35)

5 single dumbbell devil’s press (50/35)

Submitted score = combined time for both partners. If no time for either, reps completed at cap. If no time for one partner, reps complete at cap.
