About This Competition



VIP CrossFit will be hosting this inaugural event to find out who the fittest male(s) and female(s) are in the Catskills.

There will be two divisions (Rx and Scaled, male and female) with appropriate steps between them to ensure everyone can compete at their individual level!

This is an INDIVIDUAL competition. The cost for early bird registration is $65 until Aug. 6; $75 after Aug. 7.

The first place Rx male and female will win $200. The first place Scaled male and female will win a $60 Progenex gift certificate.

WODs

WOD 1:
You will have 10 minutes to find your one-rep max clean and jerk.The clean can be power or squat; any type of press is permitted (shoulder, push press, push jerk or split jerk.)

WOD 2:
You will have 12 minutes to complete as many reps as possible:
7 axle bar cleans (130/90)
14 T2B

Scaled:
7 axle bar cleans (70/50)
14 hanging knee raises

WOD 3:
You will have 14 minutes to complete as many reps as possible:
20/15 calorie row
20 burpees over rower
20 dumbbell snatch 50#/35# (10 snatches each arm)

Scaled:
20/15 calorie row
20 burpees over rower (can step over)
20 dumbbell snatch 35#/20# (10 snatches each arm)

WOD 4:
This is a floater WOD, to be done by 1 p.m. on the day of the event. Run for 2 minutes on the true form treadmill for max kilometers.
