About This Competition
We are excited and READY for our 4th Annual Charity Competition.
This year we are teaming up with "Greater Boston Food Bank". Last year we had such a successful day, we are pumped to host you all again!
Teams will be capped at 50 this year so be sure to sign up QUICK.
***NO REFUNDS, only transfers***
Divisions:
- Male/Male RX and scaled
- Female/Female RX and scaled
- We are open to ALL team submissions --just send us an email.
Standards:
RX:
Snatch 115/75
Front Squat 95/65
Double Unders
Toes to Bar/Chest to bar pull up
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)
Handstand push ups
Scaled:
Snatch 85/55
Front Squat 65/45
Single Unders
Hanging Knee Raise
Perform Clean and Jerk (any style)
Push ups
Things to know:
- IT'S A CHARITY FOR ALL TO PARTICIPATE IN
- 3 WODs
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division
Things to consider:
- In addition to your registration, we are strongly suggesting additional donations of non-perishable food items. Items able to be dropped off during gym business hours now until the day after the competition. A list from GBFB will be sent out soon.
- If you work for a company interested in donating please reach out!!!

Workouts
Spotlight Clean and Jerk
3 attempts to complete the heaviest clean and jerk. Teammates' heaviest lifts are combined for your total score. ONE ATTEMPT PER ROUND. 2 minutes between lifts.
Must show control at top of lift
Any style clean and jerk is permitted
Partner may help change weights
Partners do not need to use the same weight
Flow of event
: 6 teams per heat, 2 teams lift at a time. There will be 2 mins between attempts. 3 attempts per person for the event.
Spotlight Clean and Jerk
3 attempts to complete the heaviest clean and jerk. Teammates' heaviest lifts are combined for your total score. ONE ATTEMPT PER ROUND. 2 minutes between lifts.
Must show control at top of lift
Any style clean and jerk is permitted
Partners may help change weights
Partners do not need to use the same weight

30 Deadlifts (225/155 lb)

Must complete in order
Knees and hips locked out and behind the bar for DL
Completion of one cross one jump =1 rep for crossovers
Chin over bar for pull ups
Scaled: 3 Rounds for time:
30 Deadlifts (155/105)
40 ring rows
50 single-unders
12 minute time cap
Partition reps as the team sees fit. No rep requirements
Must complete in order
Knees and hips locked out and behind the bar for DL
Ring Rows: Feet on tape, chest/shoulders touch rings. Legs locked

Synchronized burpees over the bar
Thrusters ascending in weight. Change weight with each round
Time cap 10min
TIEBREAK: After completion of the 155lb Thruster for men and 105lb thruster for women
Weight ladder:
M:115-135-155-185
F: 85-95-105-115
Standards:
-Bar facing burpee
-thrusters split as team sees fit
-no rep requirements
-both partners will start burpee on opposite side of bar
-both partners need to hit chest and thighs on the ground synchronized
-both partners need to jump over the bar synchronized
-if you hit the bar on jump no rep and will need to repeat the jump portion of the burpee over bar
-partners can change weights together. No judge assistance
-complete lock out and control at top of thruster
-thruster #1 can start as a clean into the thruster
-thruster squat reps below parallel
