About This Competition

The 2021 Generation Games will be a two day partner competition held in Lubbock, TX at CrossFit Wild West 

There will be a special twist to the event. Teams must fall into a certain age bracket; The teams must be same sex pairs and be in the same age group to compete together! 

 

age group one is below 20 up to 29 

age group two is 30-39 

and age group three is 40+ 

 

In order to compete in any age group BOTH athletes must be within the specified age group. An example of a team that would be good to go would be a team of two women, one age 32 and the other 37, they could compete in age group number two! 

This will be a two day competition and be prepared to be outside! bring lots of water, a tent/area to hang out, sunglasses, sunscreen and anything else needed to compete. 

 

We will not be able to process refunds for any reason but can make substitutions to your team up until competition day if needed. 

Workouts will be released on social media over the next few months so keep an eye out for those over on facebook (Wild West Fitness Competitions)

21 Double DB Thruster

Athlete 1- Runs 1200m 

Athlete 2- AMRAP of the following: 

20 Snatch 

20 Burpee Box Jump Overs (24/20) 

20 Clean and Jerks 

10 Rope Climbs 

* When athlete 1 returns from run, Athlete 2 then starts their run 

** When athlete two returns both athletes may split work in remaining time to continue accumulating reps of the AMRAP movements 

2 scores for the event: 

Score 1- total time to complete both runs 

Score 2- reps completed in amrap section

ALL TEAMS WILL USE A 24/20 inch box

*A rope-let down starts in a standing position and the athlete will lower his or her body to the ground and have both shoulders touch the ground then pull themselves back to a complete standing position
