- Each event will require video submission for eligibility to win a prize. This ensures fairness and accuracy in scoring and provides a platform for participants to showcase their performance.
- Competitors will be required to submit their bodyweight before the first event. This will be done using scales that they demonstrate to be calibrated, ensuring accurate scoring.
- Workouts will be released progressively as the competition progresses, bringing forth new challenges and surprises for participants to conquer.
- Movement standards for each event will adhere to those typically seen in barbell exercises. Full details and specifications will be provided in due course, ensuring fair judging and consistent evaluation.
The lifts:
- Selected from but not limited to bench, overhead squat, clean, snatch, clean and jerk, front squat, back squat, deadlift, thruster, shoulder-to-overhead, ground-to-overhead, it is unlikely the lifts will be repeated.
Scoring and Prizes:
- Scores for each event will be submitted online within a two-week window, starting in this Autumn, allowing participants from Cornwall and Devon to demonstrate their strength and skills.
- Cash prizes will be awarded to the top performers of each individual event, motivating participants to push their limits and strive for excellence.
- In addition to event prizes, there will also be overall prizes for the top male and female competitors, recognizing their outstanding performance across multiple events.
