About This Competition

Bring your gladiator spirit to compete for a cause on Saturday, August 24, at the 6th annual Bristol Burnout Fitness Competition presented by TOPBOX Fitness, which benefits the Bristol Motor Speedway Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.
 
Fitness enthusiasts can form three-person teams (M/M/M or F/F/F) for the chance at victory, all while helping raise money to support SCC Bristol's mission of helping local children in need. The event will be held in the South Building at Bristol Motor Speedway while utilizing the vast Speedway property and of course the Word’s Fastest Half Mile.

Divisions include RX, RX-ish and Scaled 3 person teams. Each competitor will receive branded "Bristol Burnout" gear while getting the chance to compete at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway.

For time:1 partner works while 2 rest (waterfall entry: partner 1 + partner 2 + partner 3: Tag must occur to release next partner.

  • 15 strict hand stand push ups
  • 6 burpee box get overs
  • 3/2 legless rope climbs
  • 25 ft hand stand walk to tag

all 3 partners must complete

 

RXish

  • 3 burpee box get overs (48)
  • 15 hand stand push ups
  • 4 burpee box get overs
  • 3/2 rope climbs
  • 25ft sprint to tag

all 3 partners must complete

 

Scaled

  • 3 burpee box get overs (40)
  • 10 hand release push ups
  • 4 burpee box get overs 
  • 4 rope up/downs
  • 25 ft sprint to tag

The Synchro Gladiator

Single DB - 50/35lbs. (all 3 partners work at same time in synchro fashion)

10 Min Cap/3 rounds

  • 20 Synchro burpees over DB
  • 20 Synchro DB Snatch
  • 75ft Synchro overhead DB walking lunge

at 11 Min Mark:

  • total weight of all three teammates: Snatch Complex

 

RX-ish

Single DB - 50/35lbs. (all 3 partners work at same time in synchro fashion)

10 Min Cap/3 rounds

  • 15 Synchro burpees over DB
  • 15 Synchro DB Snatch
  • 75ft Synchro Overhead DB walking lunge

at 11 Min Mark:

  • total weight of all three teammates: Snatch Complex

 

Scaled

Single DB 35/25lbs.  (all 3 partners work at same time in synchro fashion)

10 Min Cap/3 rounds

  • 15 Synchro burpees over line
  • 15 Synchro DB Snatch
  • 75ft Synchro overhead DB walking lunge

at 11 Min Mark:

  • total weight of all three teammates: Snatch of any type (Power or squat)

 

Snatch Complex - Score will equal the total of all 3 teammates weight on snatch complex
