CrossFit IronSpider's Cougars & Cradle Robbers Throwdown is back for its 3rd year! We know there are some crazy Cougars & Cradle Robbers that have their eyes on some young cubs; scoop up your date for the hottest date you’ll ever go on and come Throwdown.

Cougars & Cradle Robbers is a unique CrossFit competition mixing BADASS Masters (40+) with young BUCKS (under40)! This competition will have COED teams of two with 2 divisions, RX and Scaled. Kick some booty and watch fierce Cougars throwing down with young studs and Cradle Robbers representing with buff young chicks. Cash prize, raffles, free swag and beer post event will attract a sell out crowd so register ASAP!!

Ascending Thruster and Deadlift Ladder Every 90 seconds each male athlete will have to complete the designated reps for thrusters and the women will have to complete the designated reps for deadlifts. If the team does not complete the reps or if reps are failed, they will then complete as many synchronized bar facing burpees as possible in the remaining 90 seconds and not move on to the next round. Reps are as follows: Thrusters - 5/5/5/4/4/4 Deadlifts - 10/10/10/8/8/8 RX Weights - 115/135/155/175/195/215 Scaled Weights - 95/105/115/125/135/145 Scoring: This WOD will be scored in ROUND + REPS; For each successful weight ascent the team will receive 1 point for the round. The rounds will max out at a total score of 6. The reps will be the number of synchronized bar facing burpees completed after either a failure to complete the set weight or after completing all weights. A tiebreak score is included and will be the time it takes you to complete the last set of 5 thrusters and 10 deadlifts. *Order of who makes first lift does not matter; however, you may not split up reps. Example: Female partner must complete her 10 deadlifts before Male partner does his 5 thrusters/ she may not do 5 deadlifts then he does 5 thrusters then finish her last 5 deadlifts. *ONE 45lb bar will be used *Athletes must change their own weights and use clips provided *If a team knows they will not be able to make the next ascent they may start their next round of just burpees if desired without any attempt.

For time (8min cap) 21-15-9-9-15-21 Rx: Over Head Squats (95/75) & Toes To Bar Scaled: Front Squat (75/55) & Ab mat Sit Ups Partner A starts with OHS (Scaled:FS) and Partner B starts with TTB (Scaled:AMSU). Each completes 21 reps of their respective movement. Once Partner 2 has completed 21 reps of T2B/AMSU, Partner 1 completes 15 OHS/FS and so on. Once both partners have completed their set of 9, they switch exercises and work back up the ladder going from 9 reps to 21 reps. One partner works at a time.

10 min AMRAP Rx: 60 cal row 50 WB (20/14) (10'/10') 40 C2B/pull-ups 30 KBS - American (70/53) 20 HSPU 10 burpees over partner (hips to knees)(10 each) Scaled: 60 cal row 50 WB (20/14) (9'/8') 40 KBS - American (53/35) 30 KB SDHP (53/35) 20 deficit push-ups (#25 plates for all) 10 burpees over partner (hips to knees)(5 each) *All reps must be shared equally
