About This Competition

 

Welcome to the 2018 Independence Games!

We have moved to a new date this year - the event will go down on October 20 -21st!

Get ready to throw down for your share of over $30,000! 

This year we will have multiple divisions including:

⁃Individuals -

  • Elite division - individual or team regional experience REQUIRED. 
  • Rx division - competent in the 2018 Open Rx movements 
  • Masters division - competent in the 2018 Open Rx movements 
  • Scaled division - lighter loads and basic skill requirements 

⁃Teams -

  • Elite division - at least one teammate with individual or team regional experience REQUIRED. 
  • Rx division - competent in the 2018 Open Rx movements 
  • Scaled - lighter loads and basic skill requirements 

-Youth-

  • Ages 7-10
  • Ages 11-13
  • Ages 14-16

To set you up for success when you arrive onsite, here’s what you need to know:

Check- In - All athletes can check in either Friday night from 5:30pm - 6:30pm or Saturday between 7:00am - 8:00am. Teams can check in Saturday evening from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

Where Am I Going? – Check-in occurs at the upper level of the Florence Civic Center

Parking – There are multiple on-site parking lots available at the venue.

Come Prepared – You’ll need to provide a valid ID to complete check-in. You'll also want to bring all of your supplements and food as well as tape and jump ropes. There will not be any jump ropes provided the day of the event.

Food - There will be a vendor selling healthy meals!

No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.

Trading Places – You can substitute an athlete up until registration closes on Sunday, October 14th. Please note they will receive the t-shirt ordered by the original participant.

Spectators - We will charge a $6 entry fee per day.

T-Shirt Sizes: They come in athletic cuts for both male and female shirts.
