Overview:
Athletes will complete a ladder-style deadlift event. Each athlete has 30 seconds to attempt the lift. Weight will increase by 5kg every 30 seconds until the athlete cannot complete the lift.
Starting Weights by Division:
75–84kg: 90kg
85–94kg: 130kg
95–109kg: 150kg
110kg+: 160kg
Format:
One attempt per 30-second window.
Successful athletes remain on the ladder; unsuccessful athletes are out.
Score = heaviest successfully lifted weight.
Tie-break: earliest missed attempt (later attempts rank higher).
Standards:
Conventional only. No sumo stance.
Full lockout required (hips and knees extended, shoulders behind bar).
Belts and chalk allowed. And allowed to drop barbell.
Judging Notes:
Athletes must be ready when the clock starts.
Any failed attempt or missed window ends the athlete’s ladder.
Overview
Athletes will complete a ladder-style back squat event. Each athlete has 30 seconds to attempt the lift. Weight will increase by 5kg every 30 seconds until the athlete cannot complete the lift.
Starting Weights by Division
75–84kg: 60kg
85–94kg: 95kg
95–109kg: 110kg
110kg+: 120kg
Format
One attempt per 30-second window.
Successful athletes remain on the ladder; unsuccessful athletes are out.
Score = heaviest successfully lifted weight.
Tie-break: athlete who failed later ranks higher (record the round/time of the last successful lift).
Standards
Bar must be racked across the upper back (high- or low-bar position allowed).
Athlete must descend until the hip crease is below the top of the knee.
Full lockout on standing; knees and hips fully extended.
No re-rack/re-attempt within the same window.
Belts, sleeves, and chalk are allowed; no straps or supportive suits unless approved.
Spotters may assist only after a failed lift—any assistance during a successful attempt is a “no rep.”
Bench Press Floating event:
3:00 minutes to find a 1RM bench press.
Athletes are allowed as many attempts in 3:00 minutes.
Your heaviest successful lift is your score.
