About This Competition

 

THE GOAL: As much FITNESS as possible at the COOLEST venue!

We have ensured you will feel like you are at day 1 of the games and get your moneys worth!

Your Team of 3 will have to strategize and work together to play off strengths and weaknesses for each event!

This fitness competition will have 6 Scored Workouts!

Taking place on the Paradise Terrace of Paradise Point Resort, Each event on a location stage overlooking the San Diego Bay. 

Male teams of 3, Female teams of 3, will compete to earn a spot on the podium! Then stay after for our After Party at Tidal bar and restaurant!

IN A 12 MINUTE TIME CAP COMPLETE:

This Event has 2 Scores: 

Your team must carry 2 objects around the 400M Yacht Pond:

-1 Athlete: Farmer Carry (60lb DB/40lb DB) *Must be at side, these are dumbells in each hand.

-1 Athlete: Sandbag Carry (100lbs / 60lbs) *This will be the sandbag you use for your wall throw overs.

-1 Athlete: No Carry 

*You may swap/trade at any time as many times as needed. 

*Dumbells MUST be progressed as a farmer carry.

**ALL TEAM MATES MUST RETURN AND CROSS FINISH LINE WITH THE ITEMS FOR A FINISH TIME. 

SCORE A: Time to complete lap: 

--THEN IMMEDIATELY INTO B--

With remaining time, teams must accumulate Sandbag (100lbs/50lbs) over wall repetitions: 

*1 Rep = Sandbag over + Athlete over. THE ATHLETE THAT THROWS THE BAG MUST BE THE ATHLETE THAT JUMPS THE WALL. 

*Wall is 5' Tall. 

*You may trade/switch between the 3 of you at any time. NO ASSISTING may take place, and ONE ATHLETE works at a time. Other 2 athletes must remain off to the side while 1 athlete works. 

SCORE B: REPS completed of Sandbag over wall. 

IN A 12 MINUTE CAP COMPLETE:

This Event has 2 Scores: 

The Event begins with 3..2..1..GO:

Your team must carry 2 objects around the 400M Yacht Pond:

-1 Athlete: Farmer Carry (60lb DB/40lb DB) *Must be at side, the carry is double dumbell. 

-1 Athlete: Sandbag Carry (100lbs / 60lbs) *This is the sandbag you will use in B for the throw overs. 

-1 Athlete: No Carry

*You may swap/trade at any time as many times as needed. 

*Dumbells MUST be progressed as a farmer carry.

**ALL ATHLETES AND EQUIPMENT MUST CROSS FINISHLINE TO RECIEVE A FINISH TIME. 

SCORE A: Time to complete lap:

PART B)

With remaining time, teams must accumulate Sandbag (100lbs/50lbs) over wall repetitions: 

*1 Rep = Sandbag over + Athlete over. THE ATHLETE THAT THROWS THE BAG OVER MUST BE THE ONE THAT JUMPS OVER.

30 Worm Cleans

20 Worm Thrusters

10 Syncro Burpee Over Worm 

(200lbs/150lbs)

SCORE A = TIME FINISHED

B: 

MAX SNATCHES IN REMAINING TIME (95lbs / 65lbs)

*Power/Squat Snatches accepted. 

SCORE B = REPS COMPLETED

THIS EVENT HAS 2 SCORES.

In a 10 Minute Time Cap Complete The Following: 

A: 

40 Worm Squats

30 Worm Cleans

20 Worm Thrusters

BUY IN: 

30 Squat Cleans: 135lbs Men, 85lbs Women

20 Squat Cleans: 155lbs Men, 105lbs Women

10 Squat Cleans: 185lbs Men, 125lbs Women

*May divide up reps, swap out, at any time. 

SCORED REPS:

  • MAX LENGTHS TANK PULL/PUSH:

*Each 50' Rope Pull= 1 Rep, *Each 50' Push= 1 Rep. 

*May divide up, swap, rotate at any time in any order. 

 

IN A 10 MINUTE CAP COMPLETE:

Any athlete may perform the lift they wish, EACH athlete is responsible for 1 score, MUST be performed in order: A/B/C. 

*Last lift may begin before time expires and if rep(s) are completed, score counts. "Shot before the buzzer"

A: 3RM Front Squat (pull from ground)

B: 2RM Clean (Touch and go)

C: 1RM Deadlift

SCORE = TOTAL LOAD SUM FROM ALL LIFTS
