Spanish Trials
About This Competition

What is it?
The Trials is an online, mass-participatory, functional-fitness competition for individuals from the avid CrossFitter to the elite athlete.
The North American, LATAM, and European athlete communities will have a chance to earn the right to represent their region within an international broadcast, highlighted by real-time scoring, to showcase the best in the world, within a live-to-tape broadcast.
How It Works
Athletes will register for the division of their choosing and based on the region in which they are a citizen. Beginning with a regional “qualifier,” athletes across the globe will compete in several workouts over ten days from the location of their choosing. They will then submit their scores and videos to an online leaderboard, which will remain blind, meaning the scores will not be published publicly.
Next, after a video review process, the top 3 athletes in each division, from each region, will be notified that they have qualified to be featured in a post-produced live-to-tape broadcast, named the Trials Finals.
Using the qualification stage workouts, the Trials will stream a professional, world-class broadcast that will pit the athletes from across the regions against each other.
There are no additional workouts to complete upon qualification.
Upon the completion of each workout within the stream, scores will be published, in order to build the narrative and excitement as if it were a live competition.
From there, we will crown the champion from each division, and celebrate their region.

Top 3 by division & region announced: Between January 4th - 9th
