About This Competition

The "Boombox Intramural Open" is for Boombox members all over! We will enter scores for the open and see where we all place amongst our 3 gyms... the cost is FREE if you register for the OPEN ($20) and we are hoping to pull prizes for 2 divisions, Scaled and RX...... the open is one of the best places to build and showcase camaraderie within our community!

Time cap: 20 minutes

12 Minute AMRAP

2 rounds of:
50-ft. weighted walking lunge
16 toes-to-bars
8 power cleans

Then 2 rounds of:
50-ft. weighted walking lunge
16 bar muscle-ups
8 power cleans

  M: 50-lb. dumbbells / F: 35-lb. dumbbells
  * alternating between toes-to-bars and bar muscle-ups every 2 rounds

Scaled:
  M: 35-lb. dumbbells / F: 20-lb. dumbbells
  * alternating between hanging knee-raises and chin-over-bar pull-ups every 2 rounds

Prior to 8:00, complete:
3 rounds of:
    6 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    6 squat snatches, 95 lb.
Then, 3 rounds of:
    7 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    5 squat snatches, 135 lb.
*Prior to 12:00, complete 3 rounds of:
    8 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    4 squat snatches, 185 lb.
*Prior to 16:00, complete 3 rounds of:
    9 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    3 squat snatches, 225 lb.
*Prior to 20:00, complete 3 rounds of:
    10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    2 squat snatches, 245 lb.
Prior to 24:00, complete 3 rounds of:
    11 chest-to-bar pull-ups
    1 squat snatch 265 lb.

*If all reps are completed, time cap extends by 4 minutes.

Rx’d:
Men use 95-135-185-225-245-265 lb.
Women use 65-95-135-155-175-185 lb

Scaled:
Jumping chin-over-bar pull-ups
Squat snatches or power snatches with overhead squats permitted
Men use 45-75-95-115-135-155 lb.
Women use 35-55-65-75-95-105 lb.

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 13 minutes of:
55 deadlifts, 225# / 155#
55 wall-ball shots, 20# to 10ft / 14# to 9ft
55-calorie row
55 handstand push-ups

10 rounds for time of:
