About This Competition

We're bringing Individual Comp Back! Online Individual Qualifier!

3 categories: RX, Masters 35-44 and 44+

2 Qualifier Workouts! 

Registration Opens Sunday, May 21th, 2023 at 12:01PM EST.

Registration Closes and Scores must be submitted BEFORE Sunday June 4th at 11:59 PM EST. 

Registration Cost: $15 CAD per athlete (includes fees). 

Applicants have two weeks to complete two workouts and submit your scores. 

Top 16 Men & Women in the RX division
Top 8 Men & Women in the Masters 35-44 division
Top 8 Men & Women in the Masters 45+ division

Those placing will advance to the UG Games on Friday, July 14th, 2023 in Collingwood. 

 

Workout 1:

PART 1: 
For Time:
70/55 Cal Row
50 Goblet Squat 53/35lb, 24/16kg
30 Handstand Push-Ups
50/40 Cal Row
30 Goblet Squat 53/35lb, 24/16kg
10 Strict Handstand Push-Ups

4 Minute Rest, then:

PART 2:
3 minutes to complete as many ground to overhead with Barbell 225/155, Masters 185/125

 

Workout 2: 

Part 1:

Every 2 minutes on the minute, until failure:
3* Deadlifts 315lbs/205lbs, Masters 285lbs/195lbs
3* Bar Muscle-Ups for RX and both Masters Divisions start with 6* Chest-to-bar

Part 2:

Once deadlifts and BMU/C2B are complete, in remaining time within the 2 minutes, AMRAP Double Unders.

* Every 2 minute round, increase the Deadlift AND BMU/C2B by 1 rep. Athletes can choose how many and when they opt to not perform DU's as rounds progress.

Progress through as many 2 minute rounds as possible before given reps are unable to be completed within the time. 

 

 

If final leaderboard ties are present, rounds and reps in workout 2 A will act as the tie break.
