About This Competition
Island Battle Ground gives athletes both new and experienced to competition an opportunity to challenge themselves and have a blast doing it...on the lovely island of PHUKET!

TWO divisions…
Scaled: For those who are new to competing, share a common goal of functional fitness, and are working toward mastering their skills. (Men: 18 spots. Women: 18 spots).
Athletes will be able to modify any gymnastic movements such as banded pull ups or jumping pull ups. They also can move 35-65# barbell in all Olympic movements.
Teams of 2: Male/female, intermediate. (24 spots).
Team members who are able to do pull ups, toes to bar, and move 85# plus in all Olympic Lifts efficiently.
Cost: Ealry bird registration (Jan 28-30) individual: $115. Team: $230. Normal (Jan 30-February 30) individual: $125. Team: $250. Late registration (February 30-March 31) individual $135. Team: $270.
To set you up for success when you arrive onsite, here’s what you need to know:
Prizes are included but not limited to: Cash, supplements, fitness gear, massages, etc.
Accommodation is NOT included but there are many hotels within walking distance to the gym.
Check- In - All athletes must check in at Bang Tao Muay Thai. Friday between 5:00pm-8:00pm or Saturday from 7:30am and 8:15am.

No Take-Backs – Life happens—we totally get that. But please be aware that if you cannot participate in the weekend’s events, we cannot offer a refund for any reason.

Deadlifts
Boxjumps
Your score will be the total time taken to complete all of the movements. In the event of a time cap, your score will be the number of repetitions completed before the time cap.
-Athletes much stand up in a straight line in both deadlift and box jumps
-No bouncing of the barbell
-Rebounding off the box jump is ok

-Step Ups are allowed

-Athlete at standing behind the start line
-Distance are segmented by every 10 Meters
-Athlete needs to have both feet passing the segment to get credited at the end of the time.
Scoring: Max weight times the number of reps completed.
45 sec Row / 15 second rest
45 sec Bike/ 15 second rest
45 sec Ski
-Athlete seated at the rower but hands off the handle at the start of the time.
-Total calories recorded when the monitor stops clicking.
