COMPETITION FORMAT:
Friday Night Lights is a pairs competition where athletes will compete in 4 back to back workouts for a total of 6 scores! There will be no final event, but a leaderboard composed of all teams results for all 6 scores!
Each pair will compete for 75 minutes with 4 x 10-12 minute workouts, with 10 minutes rest between each workout. You should arrive minimum 40 minutes before your heat start time to warm up and get ready. For example, your start time is 4pm:
- Workout 1 will be 4.00pm
- Workout 2 will be 4.20pm
- Workout 3 will be 4.40pm
- Workout 4 will be 5.00pm
- Finish: 5.12pm

Workouts
BACK BENDING
In 10 minutes:
No mininum requirement - split however:
For time, 21-15-9:
Pull-ups (both must be on the bar, one hanging and one working)
Power cleans (95/65lb)
Synchro bar facing burpees over the bar (same barbell)
In remaining time:
Max Ground to Overhead* (95/65lb)
*1 partner working at a time for the Ground to Overhead, swapping whenever. Ground to overhead can be snatch, clean and jerk or any form, as long as the barbell starts on the ground and ends overhead.
SCORE A: Time to complete 21-15-9
SCORE B: Total number of Ground to Overhead repetitions
