SAME SEX partner competition with Rx, Scaled, and Masters 40+ divisions. 


THERE IS NO FINAL OR FLOATER WORKOUT THIS YEAR. There is 4 events but 7 scores (as noted below) leading to multiple scores. The teams at the end of 4 workouts with the best scores are the winners. 


Register before June 1st for a free t shirt with registration. If you register after June 1st you must pay for a t shirt. 


All events are subject to change. 


Farmland Games Workouts: 


Workout #1:

For Time 

Time cap 8 min 


10-15-20-25-30-35 

Bench Press RX 155/105. Scaled and Masters 95/65

Rower Calories 

Burpees over the Rower 


Flow: 

On the count of 3-2-1 Go! One partner working at a time you will complete 10 Bench Press, 10 calories, 10 burpees over the rower. Then 15-15-15,20-20-20,25-25-25... Reps can be split anyway they want. This is the total amount of reps that need to be completed, not per individual. 


Movement standards: 

Calories: none 

Burpees over row: you may get over the rower anyway you like, as long as both feet pass over the rower and not around the rower. 

Bench Press - Extension at elbows, rep must touch chest. 


Scoring: 

1a. The time you complete your round of 20. 


2a. Time to complete the total workout will be the score. If the workout is not finished in the time cap, total reps will be your score.

Workout #2:

Time cap 12 min 


4 rounds: 

40 calories bike erg

150ft sled push (sled weight TBD, it will be something you can push calm down) 


  • once complete 200m heavy object Carry. 


Flow: 

On the count of 3-2-1 Go! One partner working at a time. You will complete 50 calories on the bike erg. You will than push a sled 150ft. You will repeat this for four rounds. Partners may switch as needed. 

When the four rounds are completed, partners will have to move a heavy object 200m. Partners may switch on the object as often as needed or may carry the object together.  The workout is finished when both partners cross over the 200m line. 


Movement standards: 

Calories: none 

Sled push: the entire sled must crossover the white line. 

200m carry: both partners feet must cross over the white line to finish. 


Scoring:

THERE WILL BE 2 SCORES FOR THIS EVENT!! 


2a. Total Time to complete 4 rounds

2b. Total time to compete the whole workout, 4 rounds + 200m carry.

Workout #3: 


10 min AMRAP: 


32 Wallball 20/14 

24 Sumo deadlift high pull (RX-115#/85#, Scaled and 40+ 95#/65#) 

16 Box jump overs (RX 30/24, Scaled and 40+ 24/20) 


Flow: 

On the count of 3-2-1 Go! One partner working at a time. You will complete 32 wallballs, 24 SDHP and 16 box Jump overs as many reps as possible in 10 minutes. Partners may switch as often as needed. This is the total amount for both partners not per individual. You are in charge of switching your box height from male to female partner. 


Movement standards: 

Wallball: Hips crease must travel below knees on the squat, the wallball must touch the line on the throw. 


SDHP: hands must be inside feet, bar must travel to or above the collar bone, the bar must than touch the floor. 


Box jump overs: 

Athletes must start with both feet on one side of the box. Both Feet must touch the ground on the other side of the box. Hands may not touch the box. 


Scoring: 

1a. The time it takes to complete 2 full rounds. ( 144 reps)

2a. Total reps accumulated.

Event #4 


TUG OF WAR SPEED LADDER!!!! 


5 ropes on the floor 

10 teams at a time. 


Your seeding from workouts 1,2,3 will determine your rank going into workout #4. 


10 teams will pull at a time. 


If there are 20 teams in the division 


Example: 

Heat 1 

1 vs 20 

2 vs 19 

3 vs 18 

4 vs 17 

5 vs 16 

———

Heat 2 

6 vs 15 

7 vs 14 

8 vs 13 

9 vs 12

10 vs 11 


In the event of an uneven amount of teams the highest seeded team will receive a first round bye. 


Flow: 

On the count of 3-2-1 Go 

There will be a predetermined distance between each team. With a clear white tape line. If any athlete at any time touches the white tape mark on their side with any part of their body in the least amount, the contest win goes to the other team. 


There will be 1-2 min rest and resets between rounds. THIS WILL MOVE QUICKLY. 


Scoring: 

If you’re eliminated the first round you will receive the highest # of points. The second round the second highest # points, the third round the third highest # of points. So on and so forth.

Workout #1:
