About This Competition

The JUGGERNAUT LEAGUE MALAYSIA OPEN 2018 is a year long online competitive series that will have a total of four seasons, with one running each quarter of 2018. Each season, winners will be crowned for each competitive category. In addition, athletes will collect points for each season and at the end of 4 seasons, the JUGGERNAUT LEAGUE MALAYSIA OPEN 2018 CHAMPIONS will be crowned based on the best overall score.

SEASON 2 runs from the 13th of April to the 21st of May 2018, with a total of 5 events for athletes to fight it out for Season Champion position in each division.

Every minute, on the minute, for 7 minutes, perform:

25 Double Unders

Max rep Thrusters

*Barbell Load:

50kg/110lbs(Men’s RX, Masters Men 35-44)

35kg/75lbs(Women’s RX, Masters Women 35-44, Masters Men 45+)

 

30kg/65lbs(Masters Women 45+)

Event 2

15-12-9 reps for time of:

Ground-to-Overhead

Pull Ups

*6 minute time cap

**Barbell Load:

60kg/135lbs(Men’s RX, Masters Men 35-44)

45kg/100lbs(Women’s RX, Masters Women 35-44, Masters Men 45+)

35kg/75lbs(Masters Women 45+)

 

***Men’s and Women’s RX category perform Chest-to-Bar Pull Ups in place of Pull Ups

Event 3

In 8 minutes, work to a heavy single Deadlift.

 

*Before each attempt, athlete MUST perform a buy-in of 10 Burpees-Over-Bar.

Event 4

For time:

50 Dumbbell Snatches

50 Knees-to-Elbows

*6 minute time cap

**Dumbbell Load:

35lbs(Men’s Scaled)

25lbs(Women’s Scaled)

***Women’s Scaled category perform Hanging Knee Raises in place of Knees-to-Elbows

Event 5

In 6 minutes:

1 minute Max Box Step Ups

5 minutes Work to heavy complex of [1 Snatch + 1 Overhead Squat]

*Box height:

24”(Men’s Scaled)

20”(Women’s Scaled)
