About This Competition

Qualifier

The workouts need to be done with both buddys / the whole team at the same physical location. The workouts do need to be done at the same day.

The qualifier workouts will be released on Nov 10th 2022 20:00 CET at Competition Corner.  The online qualifier consists of three workouts, All scores should be submitted via Competition Corner before Nov 28th 2022 at 08:00PM CET. 

Participating

Every athlete in the world is allowed to join the qualifier of the Battle of the North. Athletes younger than 18 need to show permission of their parents to join. There are 4 divisions in the competition:

  • Duo M/M
  • Duo M/F
  • Duo F/F
  • Squad MMFF

Qualifier Tickets

Duo: 40 during Q / 35 regular / 25 earlybird

Squad: 80 during Q / 70 regular / 50 earlybird

Finals

The finals will be at Feb 11-12 2023 at De Bonte Wever, Assen.

The top 16 duo's will proceed to the A-division.
The #17-32 duo's will proceed to the B-division

The top 16 squads will proceed to the A-division
The #17-40 squads will proceed to the B-division

Refund Policy & Covid-19

To participate in the online qualifier and finals, athletes need to buy a ticket via Competition Corner. There is a no-refund policy for both tickets. We know that we live in a Covid-19 phase. If the government states that we cannot host the event, we will aim to move the finals. If we need to cancel, all bought tickets minus administration costs will be refunded. If you are an athlete competing from outside The Netherlands, and you are not allowed to travel to Assen, we do not offer a refund.

This is a duo workout, that consists of 2 scores.

For time with a 18 minute time cap

30 Sync Burpees over Line
20 Sync Toes to Bar
10 Sync Burpee Shuttle Runs

Part B (125%)

40 Alternating DB Snatches
30 Handstand Push-ups
20 Alternating DB Snatches
10 Bar Muscle Ups
