Grip It N' Rip It
About This Competition
Crossfit Unshaken is proud to present our 3rd annual 'Grip It N' Rip It' competition. This is our flagship event where athletes of all calibers unite to compete in a fun, welcoming, but challenging atmosphere.
We have RX, Intermediate, and Scaled divisions for M/M and F/F teams. Click on Registration to view standards in each division. Prizes will be given out for the top 3 in each division.
Covid Protocols will be followed on the day of the event. Athletes will be asked to stay outside in the Athlete Village until their heat is up. Judges, volunteers, and spectators will be asked to wear masks while inside. Athletes WILL NOT be required to wear masks while working out.
Workouts will be released beginning mid-March.
We are excited to be hosting this event for the 3rd time and look forward to seeing you all!

Workouts
12 Min AMRAP:
800m Med Ball Run
+
AMRAP Remaining Time
10 WBs
2,4,6,8,etc... Synchronized T2B
The workout will begin with an 800m Run with a shared med ball for the team. The athletes may share the ball in any manner. When both athletes return from the run, the first set of 10 Wallballs may be completed, also being split in any manner. Then both athletes will perform 2 synchronized T2B before returning to the Wallballs for the second set of 10. The workout will repeat in this manner until the end of the 12 minute clock.

1RM Clean & Jerk
Teams will have 10 Minutes to both find a 1 Rep Max Clean & Jerk. Any type of Clean catch (muscle, power, squat) is acceptable but the rep must be pulled from the floor. Any type of Jerk (push press, push jerk, split jerk) is acceptable as long as rep is completed with full lockout. The bar will start empty until the clock begins. The bar may be loaded and unloaded as needed. The minimum amount of weight allowed will be 2.5# plates. Team scores will be combined total of weight for both athletes.

All reps may be split between partners in any fashion. There is no minimum for either partner to do. Jumping Pull Ups will require arm extension at the bottom of the movement and chin over the bar at the top, any kind of kip is acceptable. BJO will not require extension of the hips only both feet must hit the top of the box on both Jump or Step Overs. Front Squats will require hip below knee depth and full extenison of the hips at the top.
