About This Competition

**BOTH DAYS START AT 6AM**

BEGINNERS ON SATURDAY 26TH OCTOBER 
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED ON SUNDAY 27TH OCTOBER

 

Refund Policy:

No refunds. Substitutions allowed.

 

What to bring:

Your buddy - it is a partnered competition after all
Gazebo - not much shade to hang out between heats
Chair - camp variety, not your couch
Chalk - will also be sold at the event
Water - we do have one fountain but it may get crowded

 

Parking:

Please park on the service road for the day. We need the front and rear carparks for the event. Please DO NOT park infront of the dance studios or in the petrol station.

Workouts

Based on the original benchmark WOD "Jackie", this workout is 150% of the original makit it an instant classic.

 

12min Time Cap

1200m/1500m Row

75 Thrusters 15/20kg

45 Ring Rows 

 

Workout Flow:

At 3,2,1 go... athletes will complete the workout as fast as possible. You can swap in and out teammates as needed throughout the workout.

Movement Standards: to follow.

Teams will score 2 SEPERATE SCORES:
- Event 2 - total ski erg calories in 5 mins
- Event 3 - find a 3 rep max lift in 5 mins

Each athlete will ski and lift, swapping strictly at 5 minutes. Bars can started loaded.

 

Workout Flow:

At 3,2,1 go...Athlete A will ski for 5 minutes for max calories while Athlete B will find their 3 rep max lift. At the 5 minute mark, athletes must immediately swap to complete the other exercise. 

Movement Standards: to follow.

LIFT
- Beginners: 3 rep max front squat from the rack

Teams will score 2 SEPERATE SCORES:
- Event 2 - total ski erg calories in 5 mins
- Event 3 - find a 3 rep max lift in 5 mins

14min Time Cap

8 Rounds, 4 each, swapping after each whole round

16 alternating DB snatches 10/15kg
8/10 Rogue Echo bike calories
5 ground to overhead 30/40kg

 

Workout Flow:

At 3,2,1 go... athletes will complete the workout as fast as possible. Athletes must complete the whole round before swapping. The bike must be reset to 0 each round. The ground to overhead lift can be snatch, clean and press or clean and jerk.
