About This Competition

Registration for The Malta Military Games.

Organised by Armed Forces of Malta, in aid of Puttinu Cares.

Supported by CrossFit F15, CrossFit 356, CrossFit ShieldWall, The Pit, CrossFit Tripod, CrossFit Martell & The WorkShop.

Competition Format: 3 Day Competition - 6 Workouts

Team Format: 2 Males + 1 Female

Dates: 19,20,21 January 2024

Location: Lyster Barracks - Hal Far - Malta

All proceeds go to Puttinu Cares. 

Puttinu Cares, is a children’s cancer support group which was set up in October 2002 and began from an idea and desire to offer a holistic approach of care for families with children suffering from cancer. Puttinu Cares employs the principle of solidarity. The charity relies and are grateful on sponsors and generous donations from the public. (puttinucares.org)

Workouts

For time (Time-Cap: 45min)

Run 3 laps of Lyster Barracks Ring Road (1lap=600meters)
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 air squats
Run 3 laps of Lyster Barracks Ring Road (1lap=600meters)
 
The runs will be performed as a Team, then the Repetitions of each movement will be split between all three members of the Team, as the Team sees fit, however only one athlete can work at any one time, with the other two resting. Change overs between athletes must happen outside the prescribed movement area with a high-five.  

RX: all 3 athletes wearing a weighted vest

Each Athlete has a 4 minute time cap and within that time cap must find:
 
Athlete 1: 5rm shoulder to overhead 

Athlete 2: 3rm shoulder to overhead

Athlete 3: 1rm shoulder to overhead


*Barbell start from the floor

**The team must assigned who is A1, A2 and A3 before the workout starts

Athletes will have 4 minutes each to hit their assigned RM.

Score will be the total weigth succesfuly lifted between the 3 athetes
