About This Competition

In 2022 the Torian Pro will return to a same sex pairs cometition for the Pro, ProAm, Masters and Emerging divisions, whilst the Elite Teen division will be contested by Individual athletes.

The CrossFit Open workouts released each week will be used for the Torian Pro Online Qualifier. 

Each week of the CrossFit Open athletes will enter the combined scores of their Pairs team into Competition Corner where they will be ranked in their respective divisions. 

Athletes competing in the Elite Teen competition of the Torian Pro will compete as individuals and must log scores to the Open workouts for their respective age group division. 

Workout release dates: 

  • Week 1: February 25 - March 1
  • Week 2: March 4 - March 6
  • Week 3: March 11 - March 15

Torian Pro Championship Divisions: 

  • Pro: 40 pairs
  • ProAm: 40 pairs
  • Masters  35-49 years: 20 pairs
  • Masters 50+: 20 pairs
  • Emerging: 20 pairs
  • Elite Teen 14-15 years: 8 individuals
  • Elite Teen 16-17 years: 8 individuals

Qualifying Rules:

Pro and ProAm divisions will compete together in the Online Qualifier and must complete the CrossFit Open workouts as RX. At the end of the 3 weeks, the top 40 pairs teams will qualify for the Pro division, and Pairs teams ranked from 41-80 will qualify for the ProAm division. 

All Masters Pairs must complete the CrossFit Open workouts as RX. 

The Emerging division is made up of athletes who complete the CrossFit Open Scaled.

The official CrossFit Open leaderboard will be used to crosscheck and verify all scores entered in the Online Qualifier. Should any athlete choose not to register for the Open they will be required to film all qualifying workouts, with at least one workout being called on by the Torian Pro judging team for review. 

In the event of a tiebreak for a qualifying place at the Torian Pro Championship, the Athlete/Pair with the highest workout placing across all three weeks will qualify.

2022 Torian Pro expected competition level: 

Pro - Quaterfinal level programming
ProAm - Open level programming
Masters - Open level programming
Emerging - Scaled Open level programming
Elite Teen Individuals - Quaterfinal level programming

REGISTRATION CLOSES 1 MARCH 2022 5pm AEST

Registrations are non-refundable. One athlete substition can be made per team up until 6 May 2022.
