About This Competition

We hosted an EPIC Mixed Pairs Competition in 2022 and we are excited to build on our event in the Tournament Capital for 2023!

MASTERS, RECREATIONAL, INTERMEDIATE & COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

DATES

Registration Opens: April 8th 2023

Registration Closes: July 29th 2023 OR when spaces sell out (whatever comes first). Also the last day to change Divisions if necessary.

Workouts will be released throughout June

CASH PRIZES FOR PODIUM FINISHES:

  • Competitive
    • 1st - $1000
    • 2nd - $500
    • 3rd - $250
  • Masters
    • 1st - $750
    • 2nd - $300
    • 3rd - $100
  • Intermediate
    • 1st - $300
    • 2nd - $200
    • 3rd - $100

Cash prizes will be haned IN PERSON on the podium, on the day of the event.

WHAT'S INCLUDED ... HOW MANY WORKOUTS?

  • A minimum of 5 workouts will be performed by each team.
  • Swag Bag for all participants
  • Grand Prize for 1st Place in Each Division
  • Awards for podium in all Divisions - including CASH Prizes for Competitive, Masters and Intermediate
  • Professional photos by Bold Photos by Shelly will be available for purchase after the event

REFUND POLICY

There will be NO refunds on registration, so once you register, you’re in! You will not get a refund if you get hurt or become otherwise unable to compete, but you can transfer your registration.

C+J CONVERGENCE - ALL DIVISIONS - FOR COMBINED LOAD

ON AN 8:00 RUNNING CLOCK:
Establish a 1RM Clean + S2O

  • Unlimited attempts by both athletes
  • Power or Squat Cleans are both permitted - athlete choice
  • Heaviest successful lift of each will be added together for score
  • Each athlete will have their own barbell, but only 1 athlete is permitted on the platform at a time
  • Workout 5 begins immediately after the 8:00 timer ends
