Teams of 2: Male/Female Mixed Pairs

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division!

Presented by: Belton Police Foundation We're proud to partner with the Belton Police Foundation this year. Any extra funds raised will go directly to support the Belton Police Department. We're offering free entry spots for First Responder teams (entry fees covered by local sponsors).

Divisions:

RX: Able to perform all Open workouts as prescribed
Intermediate: Able to do most workouts RX, except for some higher-level gymnastics (e.g., chest-to-bar pull-ups, handstand walking) and heavier weights
Scaled: More approachable movements where work capacity is the main challenge, rather than high skill
New this year! Masters: Similar to Intermediate with adjusted skills and weights (combined age 72+)
New this year! First Responder: Similar to Intermediate with skills and weights. All team combinations allowed (Male/Male, Mixed, Female/Female) competing on their own separate leaderboard. These teams are ineligible for cash prizes (free entry via sponsorship). If you'd like to sponsor a First Responder team, a $200 donation covers one spot (business name recognized as a sponsor). Workout 1: Chuck D
3-minute time cap

63 Shared Alternating Dumbbell Snatch (partner holds dead hang)

Divisions & Weights:

Scaled: 40/25 lb
Masters: 50/35 lb
Intermediate: 50/35 lb
First Responders: 50/35 lb
RX: 70/50 lb
Flow & Standards:

One partner performs alternating dumbbell snatches while the other holds a dead hang from the rig.
Snatch reps only count while the partner is in a dead hang.
Both heads of the dumbbell must touch the ground at the bottom.
The dumbbell must move from the ground to overhead in one continuous motion, with control shown in the overhead position (lockout).
Reps must alternate hands. Partners may switch roles (working/hanging) at any time.
Rig setup: Males hang from the back of the rig (taller bar). Females hang from the front of the rig (shorter bar).
After the cap (3 minutes), the team that placed 3rd in Chuck D is eliminated. The top 2 teams advance to Bobby H.


Workout 2: Bobby H
4 Rounds for Time (partner workout)

2 Gymnastics (Pull-over / Bar Muscle-up / Chest-to-Bar Pull-up)
3 Burpee Wall Get-Overs
4 Sandbag Squats (to shoulder)
*Each partner completes a full round before switching

Divisions & Weights:

Scaled: Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups (100/75 lb sandbag)
Masters: Bar Muscle-ups (100/75 lb sandbag)
Intermediate: Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups (150/100 lb sandbag)
First Responders: Chest-to-Bar Pull-ups (100/75 lb sandbag)
RX: Bar Pull-overs (150/100 lb sandbag)
Flow:

Partner 1 completes 1 full round: 2 gymnastics + 3 burpee wall get-overs + 4 sandbag squats.
Partner 2 completes 1 full round.
Partner 1 completes another full round.
Partner 2 completes the final full round.
Movement Standards:

Gymnastics (on rig):

Females use the front bar (shorter).
Males use the back bar (taller).
Chest-to-Bar Pull-up: Arms fully extended at bottom. Chest must clearly touch the bar. Any grip. Kipping allowed.
Bar Muscle-up: Arms fully extended at bottom. Athlete passes through a dip and finishes in a support position on top of the bar. Kipping allowed. No part of the foot may pass above the plane of the bar during the kip.
Bar Pull-over: Arms fully extended at bottom. Athlete leads with the feet in front of the bar and finishes in a support position on top. Kipping allowed.
Burpee Wall Get-Over:

Chest must touch the floor.
Climb over the wall by any means.
Rep is complete when both feet hit the ground on the other side.
Wall height: 48 inches (same for all divisions).
Sandbag Squats:

Sandbag starts in front of the rig (beyond starting line tape).
Athlete carries it to the working zone (beyond the tape near the wall) 
Squat must pass below parallel; stand to full hip and knee extension. SB on one shoulder.
After 4 reps, return the sandbag beyond the starting line tape and place it on the ground.
Once the bag hits the ground, the next partner may begin their round.
General Notes:

Gymnastics follow standard CrossFit Open movement standards.
Sandbag must remain on the shoulder for all squat reps.

Movement Standards:

- Handstand Push-Up (HSPU): Athlete inverted against wall arms start fully extended, head touches mat at bottom, full arm lockout at top with heels on wall. Kipping is allowed but not required. Shared reps: partition as desired.

- Synchro Toes-to-Bar: Both partners hang from bar, both feet touch bar simultaneously at top. Toes contact between hands. Full extension with arms at bottom. Feet must pass beyond the vertical plane.

- Toes-to-Bar (shared, non-synchro): Feet touch bar between hands at top, full extension at bottom. Partition reps as desired.

- Synchro Knee Raises: Both partners hang from bar, knees raised above hip crease simultaneously. Full extension of arms at bottom, feet must pass beyond the vertical plane. 

- Push Press: Bar starts in front rack, dip and drive to press overhead. Full lockout at top (hips/knees/elbows extended). Push jerk is allowed, no split jerk.

- Echo Bike Calories: Standard Echo Bike. Calories displayed on monitor. Shared: alternate as desired; one works while other rests. Seat may be adjusted before the start of the workout.


Scoring:  

- Time to complete all reps (lower time better).  

- If capped: Each unfinished rep = +1 second


Setup Notes:  

Teams will choose their bar height at the athlete brief.
TTB (partners will face eachother for synchro).  
- 2 bars per team for Push Press if mixed pairs. **Same sex pairs (first responder div only) will share the same bar. 

- 1 Echo Bike per team.

Structure:
Collect as many reps as possible in each time domain
Each person will start over from the beginning each time domain.
**:10-second transition between each partner's work interval (time stops during transition).
Every team starts with Male as Partner A, Female as Partner B.
Partners alternate roles in sequence.
Only one athlete working at a time.

- 1 min: Partner A
- :10 transition
- 1 min: Partner B

Movement Standards:
- Shuttle Run:
25m out + 25m back (50m total per shuttle). Both feet and 1 hand must touch beyond the designated line each time you change directions. Down+Back = 1 rep.

- Double Kettlebell Thrusters:
Two kettlebells in front rack. Hands below chin. Full squat (hip crease below knee), then drive up and press overhead to full lockout (arms extended, hips/knees locked). Squat clean is allowed.

- Box Step-Overs: Step Up, both feet must touch top before descending. Must step down, no jumping. Rep counted when both feet touch the ground on opposite side.
Partners must switch box position/setup for each other.

- Row Calories: Standard C2 or Rogue rower. Calories on monitor.

RX:
- Double KB Thrusters: Men 44 lb / Women 35 lb
- Box Step-Overs: Men 20" / Women 20"


Intermediate / Masters / First Responder:
- Double KB Thrusters: Men 35 lb / Women 26 lb
- Box Step-Overs: Men 20" / Women 20"


Scaled
- Double KB Thrusters: Men 26 lb / Women 18 lb
- Box Step-Overs: Men 20" / Women 20"

Scoring:
- Total reps across all movements (every rep counts – higher better).
- Shuttle runs: 1 rep per 50m (25m/25m)
- Thrusters: 1 rep per thruster
- Box Step-Overs: 1 rep per step-over
- Row: 1 rep per calorie
- Sum of all completed reps. Roll over cals do not count.

50 Deadlifts
40 Front Squats
30 Power Cleans
*Split reps as desired between partners (Partition freely)

Part 2 – 1RM Snatch (in remaining time):
1 Rep Max Snatch (any style – squat or power; team best combined lift from both partners)

Movement Standards & Scoring:

Part 1 – Barbell Complex

Deadlift: Bar starts on floor, hips and knees locked out at top, shoulders behind bar.
Front Squat: Bar in front rack position, hip crease below knee depth at bottom, full extension at top. (squat clean is allowed at the start of your set)
Power Clean : Bar starts on the floor. Athlete lifts bar to shoulders in one motion (power clean – no breaking parallel). Finish each rep with full hip and knee extension with bar in front rack position.


All reps must be completed with these standards listed above.

**Partners bar must be on the floor for your reps to count.


Scoring for Part 1: Time to complete the 50/40/30 complex (lower time better). If not finished in time, score = number of reps completed in a 6 min window.
Part 2 – 1RM Snatch unitl the 8 min Cap

Snatch: Bar starts on floor, lifted overhead in one motion (squat or power snatch allowed).
Lockout required: hips, knees, elbows fully extended, bar overhead and stable BEFORE clock hits 8 min.
Team score = combined heaviest successful snatch from both partners (e.g., Partner A 185 lb + Partner B 125 lb = 310 lb total).


Only one working athlete at a time; judges confirm successful lifts.
If no successful snatch, score = 0 lb for that partner.
Division Weights for Part 1 (same for Deadlift, Front Squat, Power Clean):

RX: Men 165 lb / Women 125 lb
Intermediate: Men 135 lb / Women 95 lb
Scaled: Men 115 lb / Women 75 lb

Ties broken by fastest Part 1 time (if combined snatch max weights tie another team).
