This is an 8 minute EMOM, with each athlete working on opposite minutes.
At 3-2-1 go Athlete A will move to their barbell and complete 6 lateral burpees over the bar followed by 6 ground to overhead. They will then move to the rig and complete max TTB in the remainder of the minute. At minute 01, Athlete B will begin 6 lateral burpees followed by 6 ground to overhead and max TTB in the remainder of the minute. This pattern will continue for 8 minutes, with each athlete going 4 times.
Score is total TTB.
Weights:
Rx male: 115/TTB
Rx female: 75/TTB
INT male: 95/TTB
INT female: 65/TTB
Scaled male: 75/knee raises
Scaled female: 55/knee raises
Workout Flow:
There will be 8 preloaded barbells on the floor. At 3-2-1 go Athlete A will attempt a thruster on barbell #1 followed by Athlete B. Each team has one minute TOTAL for both athletes to each complete the thruster. Athletes may make more than one attempt each if time allows. Each athlete that has a successful rep will move on to the next barbell. After the one minute at barbell #1 there is a :30 transition time to the next barbell where the team will have another minute to each complete a thruster on barbell #2. This pattern will continue for all 8 barbells with one minute per team on each barbell and :30 in between. Once an athlete is unable to successfully complete a thruster they are done; their teammate may continue to move through the ladder. If an athlete makes it to the 8th and final bar they are able to choose their own weight (any weight higher than the 7th bar). They can only choose one weight, but can make multiple attempts at that weight if needed. In the event that both teammates make it there, they wil each get one minute at the final bar so that they can each choose their own weight.
*If the bar is off the floor at the end of the working min, the athlete will be allowed to finish the lift attempt.
Scoring:
Score is combined weight of the heaviest successful thruster for each partner. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker will be accumulated meters on the bike from the endurance wod.
