About This Competition

Battle of the North (BOTN) is het evenement in extreme fitness in Noord Nederland. Alhoewel het toernooi gevestigd is in Groningen, is het toegankelijk voor atleten uit heel het land, en daarbuiten. De editie van 2020 plaats vinden in het imposante MartiniPlaza te Groningen. Battle of the North staat bekend om show, beleving en sfeer door middel van een DJ, vlammenwerpers en een unieke venue!

Categorieën

Elite
Masters 35+ (geboren op of voor 16 december 1984 en 35 jaar of ouder tijdens de qualifier)
Alle atleten dienen zich aan te melden bij een officiele affiliate.

Workout Release

De qualifier workouts worden op maandag 16 december 2019 bekendgemaakt op www.battleofthenorth.nl en op de pagina van Competition Corner.

Regels

De qualifier bestaat uit 2 workouts die op één dag moeten worden uitgevoerd. Deadline voor het inleveren van de scores is zondag 29 december 2019 om 20:00 uur via Competition Corner. Kijk voor alle regels op: http://www.battleofthenorth.nl/rulebook-2020/

Finale

Op basis van de Qualifier kwalificeren de beste atleten zich voor de Finale op 1 en 2 februari 2020.

Heren: #1 t/m #30 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de A-Finale op zondag 2 februari 2020.
Heren: #31 t/m #60 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de B-Finale op zaterdag 1 februari 2020.
Heren: #61 t/m #90 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de C-Finale op zaterdag 1 februari 2020.


Dames: #1 t/m #20 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de A-Finale op zondag 2 februari 2020.
Dames: #21 t/m #40 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de B-Finale op zaterdag 1 februari 2020.
Dames: #41 t/m #60 uit de Qualifier worden uitgenodigd voor de C-Finale op zaterdag 1 februari 2020.

Masters 35+: de beste 40 masters worden uitgenodigd voor de Finale op zondag 2 februari 2020. De verdeling man/vrouw wordt bepaald aan de hand van de inschrijvingen.

Tickets

Early Bird (1 - 10 nov): € 12,50
Regular (10 nov - 15 dec): € 17,50
Last Minute (16 - 29 dec): € 20,-

Refund Policy

Voor deelname aan de qualifier en de finale dienen atleten een ticket te kopen. Een ticket is persoonsgebonden. Doorverkopen is niet toegestaan. Restitutie van het bedrag van gekochte tickets voor deelname aan de qualifier of de finale is niet mogelijk.
