The Legacy Games
About This Competition
The Legacy Games is a functional fitness competition for individuals! There are divisions for Open Men, Open Women, Masters Men (35+), and Masters Women (35+).
This competition is perfect for intermediate and experienced CrossFit athletes who want to see how they stack up with local competition.
All athlets who register in time will recieve a bangin' swag bag. In addition, podium prizes (1st through 3rd) will be awarded to each division - they will include cash as well as lots of other goodies! We are proud to boast some of the best swag bags and podium prizes around.
No refunds will be given after registration, however athletes may sub in the event of an emergency (up to 1 week prior to the event).
Bring your gear, food and drinks, and your game face! There will be some additional beverages available for purchase on the day of the event. Be ready for all conditions, both indoor and outdoor!
Spectators of all ages are welcome, but please note that this is a competition for 18+ (so there might be some adult language). We're sorry to say that no pets are allowed in the facility or on the facility's property.
Below are some general movement standards for the event. Please note that there will be movements and weights in the competition that are not listed, and not all of the movements listed will be in the competition. This is just to give athletes a guideline.
- Thrusters: Rx - 115/75#. Masters - 95/65#.
- Box Jumps: Rx - 24/20". Masters - Step Ups 24/20".
- Chest-to-Bars: Rx - Yes. Masters - Pull Ups.
- Deadlifts: Rx - 275/185#. Masters - 225/155#.
- Handstand Push Ups: Rx - Yes. Masters - Yes.
- Pistols: Rx - Yes. Masters - Lunges.
- Shoulder-to-Overheads: Rx - 155/105#. Masters - 135/85#.
- Toes-to-Bars: Rx - Yes. Masters - Yes.

Workout 1B: EMOM Mentality
EMOM 8:
6 Toes to bar
4 Lateral Bar Over Burpees
2 Cleans @ 70% of heaviest weight from 1A
**charts will be emailed and judges will them to help with easy math
**If you make it to round 8 then it is max rep cleans…score is total reps…tie breaker is weight used
**any style clean can be used…power clean, squat clean, hang power clean, hang squat clean
**you will be able to choose a lane for this entire workout that allows you to have the bar height on the rig you need
**as long as the second clean (or any cleans in the 8th round) are started (off the ground) before the end of the minute they will count

Work to a heavy clean

- 2 minutes for weight change -
**any style clean can be used…power clean, squat clean, hang power clean, hang squat clean…score is weight
**you can pre-load your bar with the weight you are starting with, athletes change their own weight
**each lifting station will have 4x45s, 2x35s, 2x25s, 4x10s, 2x5s and 2x2.5s
**there will be a men’s and women’s bar at each station, you must use the appropriate bar
