About This Competition

Hawk Eye Training Club ThrowDown.

We are so excited to welcome you all back to Hawk Eye for another mega day! Here's a little info about the day and what to expect for each category.. 

Mixed pairs - 1 Male, 1 Female per team. 

RX and Scaled categories.

Held at Hawk Eye Training Club, Carlisle, CA6 4SH

£75 per team plus booking fee. (none refundable but can change team members right up until competition day!). 

RX:

1 team member must have the following skills:

Pull Ups, T2B, Chest To Bar, HSPU, Double Unders. 

Other standards include; Box Jumps, KB swings 24/16kg, DB Up to 30/22.5kg, Barbells cycling 50/35kg plus. 

SCALED:

Standards may include: single unders, KB 16/8kg, DB up to 25/12.5kg, kipping knee raises, sit ups, box jumps or step ups, barbell cycling 30/15kg plus.

Please note we are not limited to these movements and may even test some extra skills.. if you are unsure which category you fit, stick to the open standards, if you RX during the open, go for RX with us too! 

Get ready for mega workouts, brilliant fun, family zone, sports massage on site, food stalls, coffee and more!

2 Rounds For Time:

RX:

6 Rope Climbs

18 Double DB Hang C&J (22.5/15kg)

2 lengths single DB overhead walking lunge

Scaled:

6 Rope Climbs OR 10 pulls from the floor 

18 Double DB Hang C&J (15/10kg)

2 lengths single DB overhead walking lunge

 

Each athlete must complete at least one rep of each movement.

Each athlete must complete 1 full length of lunges.

1 person working at a time.

12 Min Clock

Score = Total Pull Ups

0:00 – 15/12 Calories

2:00 – 10 Synchro Burpee Box Jumps

4:00 – 15/12 Calories

6:00 – 10 Synchro Burpee Box Jumps

8:00 – 15/12 Calories

10:00 – 10 Synchro Burpee Box Jumps

After you BOTH complete the calories / synchro BBJ, complete as many Pull Ups as possible in the remaining time of the 2 minute window. 

*Scaled athletes will complete kipping knee raises. 

LIFT: 10 mins

To find a 3RM Back Squat.

Heaviest lift is your score.

RUN

3 x 400m Runs. Your SLOWEST score is your final score.

You will run on 0, 3 and 6 minutes. 

 

AMRAP 10:

RX

10 x Wall Walks

20 x Hang Snatch - 50/35kg

30 x Double Unders

SCALED

10 x partial wall walks

20 x hang snatch – 40/25kg

50 x single skips

*reps can be split between you however you like. 

WOD 4 - The Extra

45 seconds max effort Echo Bike calories.

Both athletes go at the same time. 

Score is both scores added together.
