About This Competition

Welcome to the second edition of Team Of The Year!

Show up and test your team work in a mixed pairs competition at The Zone Ultimate Fitness X CrossFit Lusail.

Event Date: Friday 11th November 2022
Event Teams: Mixed pairs of 1 male & 1 female
Event Divisions: 20 x Scaled Teams / 20 x Rx Teams
Registration Fee: 500QR per team to be paid at The Zone Reception by 1/11/2022 for your registration to be confirmed

Event Timings:
Athletes are expected to arrive by 07:45am
There will be a prayer break from 10:30am
Athletes are expected to be back at The Zone by 01:00pm
Closing ceremony will be from 07:00pm onwards

Athlete & Judge Briefing:
Will be held at the Zone on Wednesday 9th November from 07:00pm.
At least one athlete is expected to be there to be briefed on event workouts, movement standards & rules. All judges are expected to be there as well.

Scaled Movement Standards:
Be familiar with Hanging Knee Raises, Pull Ups, Wall Walks

All DB movements performed with 15kg for men & 10kg for woman

Male 1 rep maxes should  be around 60kg+/- for C&J, 40kg+/- for Snatch

Female 1 rep maxes should be around 40kg+/- for C&J, 30kg+/- for Snatch 

Rx Movement Standards:
Be familiar with Toes To Bar, Handstand Push Ups, Pull Ups, Chest To Bar Pull Ups, Muscle Ups

All DB movements performed with 22.5kg for men & 15kg for woman

Male 1 rep maxes should  be around 80kg+/- for C&J, 60kg+/- for Snatch

Female 1 rep maxes should be around 60kg+/- for C&J, 40kg+/- for Snatch

All Athlete Movement Standards:
Must be able to perform barbell cycling safely

Experience with the following mono-structural conditioning movements: Rowing, Running, Ski Erg, Bike Erg, Assault Bike, Double Unders (Rx only)

Have a clear understanding and be able to perform all movements to the CrossFit Open standards
Because this is a partner competition you can probably expect synchronised movements

If you can perform most of the Rx movements then this is the category you should enter!
