About This Competition
Arkansas Affiliate Games is a 1-day, in-person partner (M/M, F/F) competition held in Central Arkansas! Whether you are a Scaled, Intermediate or Rx'd team, this competition will be sure to test your fitness, and guarantee that you have a little fun in the process! Our goal is to provide you with a professional competition experience with a in-box throwdown feel.
There will be NO refunds on regisration, however, athlete substitutions are allowed.

*Partner 1 completes the first unbroken 25ft portion of their handstand walk, then Partner 2 completes the first unbroken 25ft of theirs. Then, Partner 1 will return across the floor on their second 25ft portion of their HS walk, and then Partner 2 will follow and complete theirs.
*at the END of the workout, once Partner 2 completes their final 25ft unbroken section, both athletes must run across the finish line for their time to stop.

WORKOUT FLOW:
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING event 2 (partner run), and only once BOTH ATHLETES have crossed the threshold, one partner will begin the designated row, while the other starts to work on the triplet. Whoever chooses to row MUST COMPLETE THE ENTIRE DISTANCE while the other teammate starts to work on the triplet. Once the row is complete, teammates may switch out on the triplet at any point.
*Snatches can be any style FROM THE FLOOR (power or full)
*Time stops whenever the last snatch is completed and both teammates run to the finish line/mat.
*This is a 2-score event. One score for the mile, one score for the the triplet and row.
*Your tie break time for this workout is the time it takes to complete the row.

The team will have a total of 6 minutes for BOTH ATLETES to establish a max-effort attempt at the following barbell complex:
3 Cleans + 2 Front Squats + 1 Shoulder-to-Overhead
NOTE:
The complex MUST be performed UNBROKEN, meaning: athletes must do the complex without letting go of the bar. In addition, the cleans must be tap-and-go (i.e. the barbell cannot pause or rest on the ground).
SCORING: The score is the COMBINED TOTAL of the heaviest successful lifts for both athletes.
Once the 6 minute time domain is up, teams will have ONE MINUTE (1:00) to transition/load the bar for Event 5 (TBA)
*Cleans can be any style FROM THE GROUND (power, muscle, split, full. Athletes may NOT pause anywhere above the knee before performing their cleans - i.e. NO hang/high hang cleans).
*Shoulder-to-Overhead can be any style (shoulder press, push press, push jerk, split jerk)
*This Barbell Complex is worth: 100 Points

Once the 6 minute clock on Event 4 (Barbell Complex) expires, teams will have ONE MINUTE (1:00) to transition/load the barbells for Sychronized Grace. The reps are synchronized at the TOP of the jerk: full extension (knees, hips, shoulders and elbows fully extended)
