Conquer The Rock
About This Competition
Conquer the Rock is a fun, yet competitive, partner competition. It will consist of a minimum of five workouts that will be released after March 1, 2023. Each workout will include both members of the team and will challenge everyone no matter their division.
Conquer the Rock 2023 will be held in Branson, MO at Table Rock Crossfit (located inside the Ballparks of America Complex). We are able to provide a separate area for atheltes to crash and warm-up from the competition floor. This will be our second annual comp in Branson in years and no doubt the best ever!
DIVISIONS
RX: Do their gym workouts “RX” and consistently finishes in the top. Regularly finishes on the podium or are in the final heat of local competitions.
Scaled: Regularly scales class workouts at their gym. Is not able to complete all “CrossFit movements.”
Intermediate: this is if you are in between an Rx/elite Athlete and scaled Athlete. If the weights are to heavy in RX and the skill work is easy for you in Scaled, then you belong in this division.

Workouts
Partner 1: 1000m Ski
Partner 2: 1600m Run
-Working simultaneously.
-Run is on the Assault Runner
-P1 can only help with run after ski is complete
-Same workout for all divisions.
RX Int Scaled
50 Dubs 50 Double unders 100 singles
50 CTB 40 Pull ups 50 knee raises
100 double unders 75 Double unders 100 singles
40 TTB 30 TTB 40 burpees to target
150 double unders 100 Double unders 100 singles
30 BMU 20 CTB 30 pull-ups
-Split reps however-
For time:
18 Power Cleans, Back Squats, STOH
15 Power Cleans, Back Squats, STOH
12 Power Cleans, Back Squats, STOH
RX=135/95
INT= 115/75
Scaled= 95/65
P1 rows while P2 starts on the barbell, switch as needed.
Score 2 will be total Calories
After performing workout 1 and 2. Both partners will move back to the bar and find a 1 rep max hang clean any way.
Score= combined weight of each partner's heaviest lift.

Switch as desired...However, resting partner must complete must complete 50' sandbag carry as buy-in before continuing burpees/OHS
RX= 135/95, Sandbag weight 150/100
INT= 95/65, Sandbag weight 100/75
Scaled= 75/55, Sandbag weight 100/75
10 minute AMRAP:
10 Double Dumbbell thrusters, 25' Handstand Walk, 25' Front rack walking lunges.
Split reps however. Must complete lunges and HSW in at least 5' sections.
RX= 50's/35's
Int= 35's/20's; 5 Wall Walks
Scaled= 35's/20's; Bear Crawls
