WARRIOR!

You are about to embark on a mission that will test your physical and mental capabilities like never before. In order to grow we must overcome. That is what the 24AMRAP Challenge offers: a transformative challenge for you, your team and your community. You will do this together with teams from all over the world in a unique global real-time team challenge. The 24-hour AMRAP Summer Challenge 2024 will be the 14th edition of our event. Hundreds of teams and thousands of athletes and supporters worldwide have already competed with many teams returning every edition.

24AMRAP

In the classic version, 6-man teams from all over the world race against each other. The event lasts for 24 hours and you compete in your box. In a carrousel style fashion: 1 athlete works and 5 rest. Your team needs to complete at least 500 reps per hour to stay in the race using 1, 2 or all 3 movements programmed for that specific hour. Use any combination of movements and athletes.

Buddy Relay Team

For the first time ever we are introducing the Buddy Relay Team version: every hour a buddy team (2 athletes) will compete in the challenge. The same movements as the classic teams and also working with a threshold rep count of 500 to stay in the race. So the 2 athletes have to complete at least 500 reps together in that hour to make sure the team stays in the race. The team needs at least 3 buddy teams and can compete with the maximum amount of 24 buddy teams, 1 buddy team for each of the 24 hours. Buddy teams can be of any combination (MM/MF/FF). This means you can for example have 24 buddy teams and each buddy team is doing 1 hour of work or 6 buddy teams rotating every several hours etc. The only rule is that you cannot switch the buddy teams: so buddy A and B have to stay together in that combo, you cannot switch and have buddy A work with buddy C during a specific hour. For all the rules and event details go to 24houramrap.com

EHOH

Every hour on the hour, 3 new movements are published in your dashboard. You need to complete 500 reps per hour with your team to stay in the race. After 24 hours the team with the most amount of total points/reps will win the competition. The winner takes it all: a huge trophy and eternal glory. For all event info and rules check out our website. This is our flagship summer edition. Enjoy the event with your team and affiliate community and perform this challenge both in and outside of your box. Just make sure you remain in one location, for example your box and adjoining parking lot. For the exact rules for this event visit our website at 24houramrap.com

SCORING

Scoring is done online after each hour in your team dashboard here on the Strongest competition platform. Detailed instructions will be provided in time. All you need is a wifi or 3G/4G connection and all will be well. You need internet to see the new movements etc. Everything happens in your team dashboard.

SALES

Please note that all sales are final (no refunds) and are sold as team tickets.

That means you register with a team name only. A team members registration list will be sent to you after registration. For the classic version: your team must have at least two female athletes. All team captains MUST send in a complete list of all athletes 24 hours before the competition starts with clearly stating which athletes are male or female. Not having sent in a list of athletes may result in disqualification. For the buddy relay version: we will need all the buddy teams and their information. Send the list of athletes to 24amrap@mail.com

you can switch athletes up to 24 hours before the competition by sending any team changes to 24amrap@mail.com

REGISTERING YOUR TEAM

Register using your team name, that will also be visible in the dashboard. Questions? Drop us an email or hit us op on social. After you register your team you will receive a confirmation email. In that email you will see a link to your profile page where you will have access to your team and registration info. If for some unforseen reason your entire team cannot compete, contact us and we will see if we can move your team ticket towards the next event.

We look forward to working with you and yours. God's speed.

If you have any questions, please reach out to 24amrap@mail.com for assistance.

The warm-up

Welcome to the 2024 Summer Edition of the 24AMRAP Challenge! We are about to embark on an epic journey for the next 24 hours. Together, you, us and many teams and athletes from around the world will be connected by effort, sweat, laughter and our shared passion for CrossFit, community and hard work.

This is our traditional warm-up hour, has been unchanged since our first event almost 10 years ago. Reminder: this is a 24 hour event so pacing is essential. Have fun!

  1. Air squat

  2. Sit-up

  3. Push-up

Every rep of every movement equals 1 point. Have fun! Remember: pacing is key! Fallback movment is the burpee so 1 burpee is 1 point throughout the entire event.

G.I. jane

  1. Burpee pull-up - 1 rep = 20 points [video]

  2. Russian kettlebell swing - swing the kb to eye level - 24/16kg (53/35lbs) - 1 swing = 1 rep [video]

  3. Toes To Bar - 1 rep = 2 points

An hour inspired by a hero WOD: "G.I. Jane". And remember: dem burpees are always 1 point!

stack the weights!

  1. Barbell Front squat for weight - 1kg = 1 point (CALCULATE CORRECTLY IF YOU ARE USING LBS!)

  2. Barbell Push Press for weight - 1kg = 1 point (CALCULATE CORRECTLY IF YOU ARE USING LBS!)

  3. Farmer Carry 2x16kg for women/2x24kg for men - 1 meter travelled = 1 point

Total score for this hour = total kg's moved by the team and remember to convert to kilograms before submitting if you normally use pounds! Use of a barbell or power rack is allowed.

So for example: the team did 300 reps in total with 50kg and 200 reps with 100kg makes a total score of 300x50 = 15000 + 200x100 = 20000 makes a total of 35000 points

And of course add reps if you are using the Farmer Carry movement as well. Have fun!

murph is here!

  1. MURPH Complex - every completed combination of 5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups and 15 air squats is worth 20 points! Complete movements in this complex without rest.

  2. Ring dip - 1 rep = 5 points (strict or kipping are both allowed)

  3. Single arm dumbbell snatch - 8kg/10kg - 1 rep = 1 point [video]
