About This Competition

Calling all RX, scaled, and masters 35+ athletes. Join us a CrossFit Sango for an awesome day of competition. Two person teams will complete three WODs and one floater in this single day event.


EVENT SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:

FLOATER ANNOUNCEMENT on Friday at 6pm via Instagram livestream

Doors open on Saturday 8/27 at 7am

Athlete check in from 7-8am

Athlete briefing at 8am

First heat starts at 8:30am

Last heat ends around 3pm

Podium tentatively 20-30 minutes after last heat

Workouts

WORKOUT 3 -

Every 2 Minutes on the Minute x 8 Minutes (4 Rounds Total for Each Athlete)

Minutes 0-2: Mary (5 Handstand Push-Ups, 10 Pistols, 15 Pull-Ups)

Minutes 2-4: Max Ski Meters


RX: Mary as Written

Scaled/Masters 40+: Hand Release Push-Ups, Air Squats, Jumping Pull-Ups


Workout Flow

2-person teams: Minutes 0-4 - Athlete One, Minutes 4-8 - Athlete Two, Minutes 8-12 - Athlete One, Minutes 12-16 - Athlete Two.

The ski erg will be reset between athletes for accurate meter counting. 50m = 1 rep on the ski erg, and will be added to finished Mary reps.


Score is TOTAL REPS completed between both partners

All movements completely synchronized.

With an 8 minute time cap -

Each athlete will have 4 minutes to work up to the heaviest successful complex:

1 Deadlift

1 Hang Squat Clean

1 Shoulder to Overhead

1  Hang Squat Clean

The complex must be unbroken, for the lift to count. No dropping the bar.


Workout Flow: Athlete One will have 4 minutes to complete their heaviest lift. Then, Athlete Two will have 4 minutes. 


Score is the HEAVIEST SUCCESSFUL unbroken complex completed

Buy In: 30 Bar Facing Burpees

Toes to bar

- 12 minute time cap -


RX: 105/75

Scaled/Masters 40+: 75/55, scale toes to bar to knees above parallel, step-over bar is accepted


Workout Flow

2-person teams: Buy In and 21-15-9 reps will be synchronized between both partners. When one athlete rests, both rest.


Score is TIME COMPLETED, if the team gets CAPPED it is CAP + reps remaining

AMRAP 8

30 Double-Unders (45 Single-Unders)

20 Box Jump Overs

10 Alternating Single Arm Devil's Press


RX: Double-Unders, Box Jump Overs @ 24"/20", Devil's Press @ 70/50

Scaled/Masters 40+: Single-Unders, Box Step Overs @ 24"/20", Devil's Press @ 35/25


Workout Flow

2-person teams: Athlete's complete one round each, then the athletes can partition the work however they'd like.
