Classico Storico
About This Competition
Join us for the Classico Storico at Full Tilt, Louisville's premier functional fitness and performance coaching gym, on September 7. With four unique workouts designed to test various fitness domains, including strength, endurance, and skill-based movements, this event promises to push competitors in both the scaled and Rx divisions.
This year, the competition features a unique twist: the top male and female competitors from both divisions will face off in a finale to crown the most well-rounded athlete. Don't miss your chance to compete and test your mettle—register now!
• Event 1: 2.3 mile run around Cherokee Park’s scenic loop.
This route is a paved pathway with hills throughout, testing each athlete’s cardiovascular endurance as well as their ability to pace themselves for the upcoming events.
Both RX and Scaled divisions must complete the run to move on to the next event.
• Event 2: 21-15-9 rep scheme for Deadlifts and 7-5-3 rep scheme for Wall Walks.
The RX Division will deadlift 225 lbs for males and 155 lb for females and complete standard wall walks.
The Scaled Division will deadlift 135 lbs for males and 95 lbs for females and complete modified wall walks.
Event two will test each athlete’s strength, muscular endurance, and gymnastic skills with a descending rep scheme that’s designed to see how long each athlete can hold on to a blazing pace. This event will test your mental fortitude in addition to your physical prowess.
• Event 3: 15:00 AMRAP
RX Division will have 15 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible of:
o Calorie Row (10 cal for male, 7 cal for female)
o 10 Box Jumps (24” for male, 20” for female)
o 10 Pullups
o 15 Wall Balls (20lbs to a 10' target for male, 14lbs to a 9' target for female)
Scaled Division will have 15 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible of:
o Calorie Row (10 cal for male. 7 cal for female)
o 10 Step Ups
o 10 Ring Rows
o 15 Wall Balls (20lbs to a 10' target for male, 10lbs to a 9' target for female)
Event 3 in Classico Storico will test each athlete’s stamina pushing their cardio capacity and muscular endurance through a longer time domain.
• Event 4: Event 4 is a floater workout. Athletes will be allowed to pick from a selection of pre-designated time slots in the sequence of events to complete this event.
The RX Division will have :90 sec to complete as many Sandbag Cleans over the shoulder at 150 lbs for male and 100 lbs for female competitors.
The Scaled Division will have :90 sec to complete as many Sandbag Cleans over the shoulder at 100 lbs for male and 70 lbs for female competitors.
This event will test each athlete's total body strength and power for :90 using an odd object.

Clean & Jerk, 185/115#
Rope Climbs: Start from ground, no jumping. Hand touches 15/13' tape mark. Feet go beneath lower tape mark before dropping to floor.
Clean & Jerks: Power or Squat clean, any S2OH will count. Bar lands on shoulders for the clean, before the jerk. Full extension at top of each rep with bar overhead.
Ski Erg Cals: 18/15, 15/12, 12/9, 9/6, 6/3
Clean & Jerk, 5-4-3-2-1 reps @115/75#
Must reset Ski cals each round. Must have hands on handles until desired # of calories are reached each round.

2.3 Mile run of Cheerokee Park Scenic Loop. Run will begin and end at Full Tilt Gym. All competitors will start run at same time. All atheltes must complete full 2.3 Miles to move on in compeition. 30:00 time cap.
