About This Competition

REGISTRATION PASSWORD: cfi2021

An in-gym competition for members of CrossFit Indianapolis. This is an individual competition with a Rx and Scaled categories for men and women athletes. There will be multiple workouts throughout the day (concluding by 1:00pm). Workouts will be released closers to competition day. Last day to register is June 26th to guarantee a shirt. 

Here are the requirements for each division: 


Rx Division
Any or all of the following movements with respective male/female weights could appear in this year’s CFI Local.

Burpees

Single Unders

Rowing

Box jump overs (24/20)

Run/walk with medicine ball

Wall balls (20/14 to 10’/9’ target)

American KBS (53/35)

Deadlifts (185/135)

Clean (135/95)

Single DB Snatch (50/35)

Single DB Clean & Jerk (50/35)


Scaled Division

Workouts

On a 4:00 clock...

Score 1 (FOR LOAD): 0:00-2:00, 1 Rep Max Clean, any style

Buddies may help athletes load the bar at any time.

Athletes may begin the event with 1st weight on the bar before 3-2-1-Go.

Score 1 Rules:

At 3-2-1-Go, the clock counts up to 4:00

  • From 0:00 to 2:00, athlete may make as many attempts as desired for a 1-rep max clean
  • Clean may be any style (power, squat, split)
  • The heaviest successful clean is recorded as Score 1 for this event
  • Must be in increments of 5lbs

On a 4:00 clock...

Score 1 (FOR LOAD): 0:00-2:00, 1 Rep Max Clean, any style


Score 2 (FOR REPS): 2:00-4:00, Hang clean for max reps
Score 2 barbell weight is at 80% of Score 1

Buddies may help athletes load the bar at any time.

Athletes may begin the event with 1st weight on the bar before 3-2-1-Go.

Score 2 Rules:

  • From 2:00 to 4:00, athlete has one attempt to accumulate the maximum number of unbroken hang cleans
  • The weight loaded is 80% of Score 1 for the athlete
  • The judge will calculate the weight for you to load
  • Load done in increments of 1lbs
  • Athlete must deadlift to standing position before beginning
  • “Hang” start position is anywhere above the knee
  • All athletes are capped at a score of 20 reps for this event
