About This Competition

Welcome to the Kraken Winter Games!

Kraken Winter Games will feature multiple divisions of Rx and Scaled.

Rx will have cash prizes, the scaled division will have other prizes. 🤑

No refunds available but teams can be transferred up until one week before the competition. 

Four events (one two-event workout) plus a final for all divisions!

  • Clean & Jerk starting at 135/95 (only one member)
  • Bar Muscle Ups (only one member)
  • Handstand Push Ups (only one member)
  • Dead Ball 100/70

Scaled:

  • Push Ups or Push Ups onto a Box
  • Sit Ups
  • Air Squats
  • Clean & Jerk starting at 95/55
  • Ring Rows
  • Dead Ball 70/50

Complete as fast as possible within a 10 minute time cap of:

DB Snatch Weight: 50/35#

· Ball cannot touch box

· Ball must touch blue tape line before starting next rep

· DB snatch must sync at the top

· Must jump over the box (no step-ups)

 

Scaled:

Winter Games Event #1

Event Two

For Time: 11 minute cap

Rx Men:

500—400—300—200 ski meters each athlete

Non-skiing athlete goblet hold:

· 70# KB Rx Men

Rx Women/Scaled:

400—300—200—100 ski meters each athlete

Non-skiing athlete goblet hold:

· 53# KB Scaled Men/Rx Women

· 35# KB Scaled Women

At 12 minutes on the clock (directly after Event Two):

Rx:

Every minute one athlete completes a power clean/push jerk and the other athlete completes a squat clean/split jerk

30 second transition between rounds to change weights
