About This Competition
Summer Social 2026
The Summer Social is a community fitness competition bringing together athletes from Northstate CrossFit, Cage Athletics, Adventure CrossFit, and Lift CrossFit for a fun day of fitness, friendly competition, and community.
Teams of 2 (1 male / 1 female) will complete four workouts throughout the day, with each participating gym hosting one event. Workouts will be challenging but accessible and are designed to test a broad range of fitness while keeping the atmosphere fun and welcoming.

Schedule:
• 8:00 AM – Athlete Check-In & Briefing at Northstate CrossFit
• 8:30 AM – Competition Begins
• Approximately 1:30 PM – Event Wrap-Up
Division Format:
There will be one overall division for all teams.
For each workout, teams will have the option to complete the workout as prescribed (RX) or scale movements and/or weights as needed. Teams completing workouts RX will be ranked ahead of teams completing scaled versions of the workout.
Our goal is to make this event accessible to a wide range of athletes while still providing a competitive experience for those who wish to perform the workouts as prescribed. If a movement or weight is outside your comfort zone, don't let that stop you from participating. The Summer Social is about bringing the local fitness community together, challenging yourself, and having a great time.

Workout Description
Teams will complete 10 rounds for time of Ground to Overhead and synchronized Box Jump Overs.
The Ground to Overhead reps may be split between teammates however they choose. Athletes may switch at any time.
The 5 Box Jump Overs each round must be performed synchronously, with both athletes clearing the box together before beginning the next rep.
Time Cap: 12:00
Score: Time to complete the workout. If the workout is not completed within the time cap, the score will be the total number of reps completed at 12:00.
A Little Bit of Everything
Teams will complete 6 stations.
Each station consists of:
2:00 of work
1:00 to transition to the next station
At the beginning of each station, teams must first complete 28 ft of Axle Bar Walking Lunges in the designated position. Once the lunges are complete, athletes will use the remaining time to accumulate as many reps as possible of the assigned movement.
Only reps completed after the lunges count toward the score.

Pull-Up = 1 rep
Chest-to-Bar = 2 reps
Bar Muscle-Up = 4 reps

D-Ball Over Shoulder = 3 reps
Rules
If a team scores 0 reps at any station, the workout ends immediately.
Once a team selects a pulling movement (Pull-Up, Chest-to-Bar, or Bar Muscle-Up), they must use that movement for the entire station.
Score
Total reps accumulated across all six stations.
For Time
21 Synchronized Deadlifts (185/125 lb)
200 m Run (together)
15 Synchronized Deadlifts (185/125 lb)
400 m Run (together)
9 Synchronized Deadlifts (185/125 lb)
Then,
1 Max L-Sit Attempt per Athlete
Teams will complete the deadlifts and runs for time before finishing with one maximum L-Sit attempt per athlete.
All deadlifts must be performed synchronously.
The runs must be completed together.
After the final set of deadlifts, each athlete will have one attempt to establish their maximum L-Sit hold.
The combined L-Sit time from both athletes will be subtracted from the team's workout time to determine the final score.
Time Cap: 10:00
Workout Description
Teams will work through the Ski Erg, Sled Pull, Row, Sled Push, and finish with 100 Wall Ball Shots.
Time Cap: 20:00
Score: Time to complete the workout. If the workout is not completed within the time cap, the score will be the total number of reps completed at 20:00.
Movement Standards
Ski Erg: May be split however the team chooses. Athletes may switch at any time.
Sled Pull: Must be split evenly. Each athlete is required to complete 2 full lengths (25m each).
Row: May be split however the team chooses. Athletes may switch at any time.
Sled Push: Must be split evenly. Each athlete is required to complete 2 lengths (25m each).
Wall Balls: May be split however the team chooses. Athletes may switch at any time.
Wall Ball Weights
RX: 20/14 lb
Scaled: 14/10 lb
Sled weights for both RX and Scaled divisions will be announced prior to the event.
