About This Competition

The next Petram in house competition is here!  This time we are throwing down in teams of 3 and following up the event with a community potluck BBQ!  

TEAMS: Teams of 3, open (MMM, FFF, FFM, FMM)

Divisions: PERFORMANCE & FITNESS

3 Workouts.

Note: you may switch divisions once all workout details are released, do not stress.

At the call of 3, 2, 1, “GO!” athletes will begin accumulating repetitions in an ascending ladder of wall walks and handstand push-ups. The partners may split the work however they’d like. While P1 completes the movements of the AMRAP, P2 & P3 will hold a wheelbarrow plank position.

All work must stop if the plank position is dropped.

Performance
In between each round, the trio must complete a 50’ wheelbarrow walk. The walk may be completed by any combination of teammates. The rep is counted when hands are crossing the line(s) out (1 rep) and back (1 rep).

Fitness
In between each round, the trio must complete 20 wheelbarrow shoulder taps. The rep is counted when the hand returns to the plank position. Each shoulder tap counts as 1 rep.

Score: total reps of HSPU, Wall Walks and wheelbarrow walks (or taps).

WOD 2
At the call of 3, 2, 1, “GO!” athletes will begin working through the movements of the chipper. Partners may share the work for any movement where SYNCHRO is not specified. During these movements, only one person may work at a time. When SYNCHRO is specified, all three athletes must work:

Air squat: all 3 synchro at the bottom below parallel before standing

Toes to bar: 1 holding an active hang, 2 are synchro. Synchro is when both athletes toes hit the bar at the same time.

WOD 3 is RELAY style:

At the call of 3, 2, 1, “GO!” Partner 1 will begin round 1, starting with the bike. When they have finished their round, they will tag the second partner to complete round 2, when P2 is finished, they will tag P3. When P3 finishes their movements, they must cross the designated line to finish the relay.

Only 1 barbell can be loaded at a time.  Non working athletes may load/unload while the other athlete is on the bike or doing gymnastic movements.
