About This Competition
Online Competition:
All registered team will go into the
Semi-Finals: September 21st - 26th
Top teams of each category will go to the Finals
Finales: September 29th - October 3rd
Finalists will be annouced Sept 28th.
Do the workouts and submit scores and videos before Sept 26th 8PM
Important Update!
First of all we would like to thank you for your patience.
We have also been patient in the interest of allowing more time to collect and process all information concerning the COVID-19 outbreak.
The decision of team Fitville has been to move Fitville Caribbean Championship 2020 in Aruba to an online event.
There will be no QUALIFIER in june!
The event will be an Online FITVILLE CHAMPIONSHIP Team Competiton and will take place in September.
All workouts will be done individually and scores, when submitted, will be added to the team score.
Major sports events around the world have been cancelled or postponed with no specific time to restart. Going virtual still gives us the opportunity to compete, have fun and be part of this amazing community of fitness.

Fitville Aruba is a 2-person team competition offering Scaled, Intermediate, RX, Masters and Teen divisions per gender.
Our focus is to celebrate fitness, community and life. At FitVille being active, eating healthy, enjoying life with your family and friends is the goal.

WOD FLOW
At the sound of 3,2,1…The athlete will start the set of 10 power barbell snatches, followed by 10 box jump over. This will mark the end of the first round on this 6 round workout. The following rounds will be repeated as explained above, with the only difference each round will have one repetition less of each movement, the second round will be 9 repetitions per movement, third will 8 repetitions per movement and so on. Until the completion of the last round with five repetitions per movement. The time will stop when the athlete has landed the last repetition (fifth repetition of round six) of the box jump on the opposite side of the box. The score on this workout will be the time of completion (if within the 5 minute time cap), or the reps performed during the time cap of 5 minutes.

WOD FLOW
At the sound of 3,2,1…The athlete will start, the first of this two part workout, by approaching the apparatus designated for his/her division and will perform as many repetitions of the movement for the respective category. The athlete will have 05:00 minutes of time to accumulate the repetitions. At the mark of the 05:00 minutes the athlete will have 02:00 minutes of rest. When the clock comes to the 07:00 mark, the athlete will then have 03:00 minutes to find a two repetition for max weight on the clean and jerk movement. The score for this two part workout will be a) the amount of repetitions performed on the first part, and b) the highest weight lifted on the clean and jerk.
