About This Competition

Qualifier

The workouts need to be done with both buddys / the whole team at the same physical location. The workouts do not need to be done at the same day.

The qualifier workouts will be released on April 21st 2022 at Competition Corner.  The online qualifier consists of three workouts, All scores should be submitted via Competition Corner before May 9th 2022 at 08:00PM. 

* The Qualifier moved from January to April/May due to the new measures in The Netherlands.

Participating

Every athlete in the world is allowed to join the qualifier of the Battle of the North. Athletes younger than 18 need to show permission of their parents to join. There are 4 divisions in the competition:

  • Duo M/M
  • Duo M/F
  • Duo F/F
  • Squad MMFF

Qualifier Tickets

Earlybird: until Nov 7th 23:59h

Duo: 35 regular / 25 earlybird

Squad: 70 regular / 50 earlybird

Finals

The finals will be at July 2-3 2022 at De Bonte Wever, Assen. The number of advancing athletes:

Duo FF #1-16 - A-division
Duo FF #17-40 - B-division
Duo MM #1-16 - A-division
Duo MM #17-40 - B-division
Duo MF #1-16 - A-division
Duo MF #17-48 - B-division
Squads #1-16 - A-division
Squads #17-48 - B-division

Refund Policy & Covid-19

To participate in the online qualifier and finals, athletes need to buy a ticket via Competition Corner. There is a no-refund policy for both tickets. We know that we live in a Covid-19 phase. If the government states that we cannot host the event, we will aim to move the finals. If we need to cancel, all bought tickets minus administration costs will be refunded. If you are an athlete competing from outside The Netherlands, and you are not allowed to travel to Assen, we do not offer a refund.
