Warrior Affiliate League  in  Association with REVISION FITNESS and SIGNS Rx presents:  

"Gruesome Twosome" Duo 2-person team competition 

When: Saturday, NOV 12, 730AM-230PM

Where: CCF Athletics 13781 Roswell Ave Chino  CA

Gruesome Twosome is a 2-person (MM/FF/MF) functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels across 5 divisions. 

Come out and play in the California sun!! This is an outdoor event.  This event makes for a great first competition for those new to CF/Functional Fitness Competitions. For the veteran CFer, this event will test your skills in a FUN and challenging way!    Grab a friend and build your Super Team Duo. Register early, we anticipate this event to sell out!!

Registration Fee Schedule:

SEP 1-SEP 15: $160/team + processing fee

SEP 16-SEP 30: $170/team + processing fee

OCT 1-15: $180/team + processing fee

OCT 16-SOLD OUT: $200/team + processing fee

 Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 3 workouts, with 6 separate scored events, (2) exclusive athlete event shirts*, team name plate*, sponsor goodies at check-in, access to a huge vendor village, and an opportunity to prove your fitness in front of family, friends, and the largest crowds in Southern California with ultimate prize packs for podium winners!

5 DIVISIONS:  Mixed Pairs (MF) Hybrid Division Only, Men's Advance (MM), Men's Intermediate (MM), Women's Intermediate (FF), and Women's FUN (FF).

Mixed Pairs Hybrid Division: Hybrid Division is a combined Advanced/Intermediate level. At least 1 athlete on your team must be able to perform the following gymnastics movements:  Bar Muscle ups, C2B Pull ups,Toes to Bar, Double Unders, Handstand Push Ups. Hybrid athletes must be able to lift, but not limited to, Snatch 135/95, C+J 185/135, Deadlift 315/225, Thruster 135/95

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering. Register your team 3-weeks prior to event to guarentee exclusive shirt/tank and team name plate. Teams registered teams who register after deadline, will not receive apparel nor team name plate.

Don't know which division to sign up for? No problem. Written requests to info@warrioraffilaiteleagie.com, must be received 21 days prior to event for changes to division/team name. 

Workout 1 - “Stay in Your Lane” (8 min cap)
For time

100 single-unders*

10 Partner Deadlift

20 synchro burpees over the bar

10 Partner Deadlift

30 Toes 2 Bar (W FUN-Hanging Knee Ups)

Then with remaining time – perform as many repetitions as possible of Partner DL

Partner DL: M ADV 345#, M INT/MIX 295#, W INT 225#, FUN 185#

*ADV/MIXED each athlete must perform 50 unbroken single-unders. If athlete fails to perform 50 unbroken single-unders, athlete will get a zero and restart at zero. INT/FUN will share 100 single-unders total, which does not have to be unbroken.

Workout 2 - “We Walked Into a Bar” (12 minutes)

From 0:00-2:00 (2 minutes)
12 Box Jump Overs/step overs
Max Jerks (S2OH)

-       Rest 1 minute -

From 3:00-6:00 (3 minutes)
16 BJ Overs/step overs
Max Front Squats

-       Rest 2 minutes -

From 8:00-12:00 (4 minutes)
21 BJ Overs/step overs
Max Power Cleans

M ADV  135#, INT 115/75, W FUN 65#, MIXED PAIRS 115#

BOX  M 24” / F 20” / MIXED 24”

All divisions will share a single barbell and box. All division may choose to perform BJO or step overs. 

WORKOUT 3 – “Are We There Yet?”

Perform as many repetitions as possible in 5 minutes of:

A.    MAX Calorie Ski Erg

B.    MAX Sled Push**   **weightloads TBA 1-week before event.

REFUND POLICY:  THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS.  There will be no shirt size/type changes after final order date. Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day prior to the first workout.

*ADV/MIXED DIVISION - Each athlete must perform 50 UNBROKEN signle-unders. If athlete fails to perform 50 unbroken SUs, athlete will get a zero and must restart at zero. This will repeat until 50 UNBROKEN SUs are completed. INT/FUN DIVISION Team will complete a total of 100 single-unders (i.e. shared). INT/FUN single-unders do NOT have to be unbroken. 

 E2- With remaining time, IMMEDIATELY perform as many repetitions as possible of PARTNER DEADLIFTS.
