About This Competition
The Summer Smash is BGB CrossFit's annual in- house competition.
There is no registration fee for this event.
Teams are randomly chosen from members who have signed up to include a beginner athlete, a scaled athlete and an RX athlete on each team.

Workouts
Event 1: R.A.D Global Relay
Each Athlete Complete The Following For Time:
50/40 Calorie Row
50 Wall Ball (20/14#)
50/40 Calorie BikeRest :30s
Time cap per partner ~12:00
This workout will be completely relay style: Partner A completes all three movements, tags partner B, and the same for partner C. Time is complete when each teammate has completed WOD.
Score is for total time including the rest time.
** For those athletes who choose to officially participate in the R.A.D Global challenge, your judge will record each athlete's time for the workout and will reset their stopwatch in between each athlete. The official time for the team will be recorded from the main gym clock.
Event 2:
Score For Max Weight For Each Teammate:
1 Deadlift
1 Clean
1 Hang Clean
Team Time Cap: 7:00
*All lifts must be completed without dropping the bar. Any variation clean is permitted. Ladies and Beginners will be given a 1.4 multiplier for the lift.
Event 3: Jump & Pull
10:00 AMRAP ~ Each Teammate Completing 1 Full Round At A Time
25 Double Unders/Single Unders/Plate Step Ups
10 C2B/Pull Ups/ Ring Rows
Run To Tag Partner
At the start of the workout, Teammate A leaves the start area and moves to the jump rope area to complete their reps. When complete, Teammate A moved to the rig where they complete their pulling reps. When complete, Teammate A runs back to the start area to tag in Teammate B who completes the round and then tags in Teammate C to do the same. The workout continues with each teammate completing a round of the workout as quickly as possible and then tagging in the next person until the 10 minutes expires.
