About This Competition
Welcome to Mayhem For Mustard Seed 7 !
We are excited to invite you to join us for year 7 in supporting Mustard Seed Ranch! Mustard Seed Ranch is a Christian home for children who have experienced childhood trauma. Their mission is to help children heal from childhood trauma by equipping them and their guardians with training, tools and trauma therapy. The goal is family reunification and to preserve the family.
CrossFit Mayhem wants to invite you to join us in supporting Mustard Seed Ranch for the 7th year. Beginning in 2013 with Mayhem for Mustard Seed 1, the Mayhem Family has been able to raise a total of $780,000.00 for Mustard Seed Ranch.
Mayhem for Mustard Seed 7 is an online competition that you can perform at your own gym between December 9th and December 18th. The competition consists of 3 workouts that can be performed in any order. Scaled and Rx versions of the workouts are available. The team registration cost is $20.00. All teams (Rx and Scaled) who have submitted scores for all three workouts by December 18th at 8:00pm (central) will be entered into a drawing to win 1 of 3 Train with Rich Couples Package. Each TWR package includes 2 complimentary TWR spots ($2000.00 value) that can be used at any single Train with Rich weekend in the future!

Workout #1 Rx
12:00 AMRAP

Max Clean and Jerks (135/95)
*partner must hold barbell at top of deadlift while row is being performed
**Tie Break is time to complete Row
Description: Athlete 1 will begin on the rower while Athlete 2 holds the barbell loaded with the appropriate Clean and Jerk weight at the top of a deadlift (clear lockout of the knees and hips and shoulder behind the bar). Athletes are NOT allowed to use any type of tape grip, weightlifting strap, or gymnastic grip on the hold. Use of hook grip and thumb tape (on the thumbs) is permitted. Athletes may switch places on the row at any time, but the rowing handle must remain racked in cradle until the barbell is in the correct position at lockout. At the completion of the row, athletes will both move to the barbell and begin performing Clean and Jerks in the remaining time. One barbell is permitted per team unless it is a mixed gender pair. In the event that a mixed gender has two barbells, the working bar must completely settle on the floor before the resting bar can be used. Score by total Clean and Jerks at the 12:00 min mark.

Description: Athletes will be completing 10 rounds (each) for time. Athlete 1 will begin on Wall Balls and Athlete 2 will begin on Toes to Bar (Ab-mat Situps). When both athletes have completed their movement, they will switch places. Athletes will continue to switch back and forth on movements until each athlete has completed 10 rounds of 15 Wall Balls and 15 Toes to Bar (Ab-mat Situps). Score by time to complete 10 rounds each. If athletes fail to complete 10 rounds each before the 20 minutes time cap, they will record total reps completed.

Description: Athletes will be completing 10 rounds (each) for time. Athlete 1 will begin on Wall Balls and Athlete 2 will begin on Toes to Bar (Ab-mat Situps). When both athletes have completed their movement, they will switch places. Athletes will continue to switch back and forth on movements until each athlete has completed 10 rounds of 15 Wall Balls and 15 Toes to Bar (Ab-mat Situps). Score by time to complete 10 rounds each. If athletes fail to complete 10 rounds each before the 20 minutes time cap, they will record total reps completed.

**Lunge is scored as 2 reps total. One for each 25’ section.
Description: Athlete 1 will begin on Walking Lunge and then perform 2 BBJO while Athlete 2 rests. Athlete 2 will perform Walking Lunge and 4 BBJO while Athlete 1 rests. Athletes will switch back and forth on rounds until the 15:00 mark is reached. WORKING PARTNER MUST PHYSICALLY TAG RESTING PARTNER TO BEGIN NEXT ROUND. Score by total reps completed.
