Second Chance Online Qualifier
Due to many athletes contracting Covid-19 during the Online Qualifier or struggling to recover from Long Covid or injury, the MastersHQ team agreed to run a 'second chance' Online Qualifier for our 2022 season only! :D
MastersHQ also received a lot of requests to join the series from athletes who had unfortunately missed the registration cut off date.
This is now your chance to join the fun!
This Qualifier is open to anyone 30+ and free to any athlete who previously signed up to the 2022 MastersHQ CrossFit® Championship Online Qualifier but was unable to complete it.

Any athlete who previously signed up for the 2022 MastersHQ CrossFit® Championship Online Qualifier but was unable to complete the workouts due to illness or injury will gain free registration into the Second Chance Online Qualifier.
These athletes are required to email admin@mastershq.com.au to receive their free registration code.

RX & INTERMEDIATE
(scaling options for intermediate)
Age Categories:
30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
MastersHQ Online:
10 days to complete 6 workouts
Workouts:
Workouts can be found on the MastersHQ Website as well as our Instagram and Facebook page.
These include weight requirements for each age/division.
Participants:
All participants have 10 days to complete the 6 workouts and submit their score and video in to Competition corner.
Scores must be submitted no later than 10pm on submission day for scores to count.
WILDCARD OPTION
CrossFit Games Semi Final or Age Group Qualifiers can apply for the Wildcard option which will allow them to register directly into the 2022 MastersHQ CrossFit® Championship Semi Final. These athletes will be exempt from completing the MastersHQ Second Chance Online Qualifier.
TOP QUALIFYING ATHLETES MUST SUBMIT VIDEOS.
MastersHQ recommends using the WeTime timing app. All workouts will be programmed into the timing app for your convenience.
Videos are required for any athlete (Intermediate and RX) to progress to the next round

Age:
To be eligible to enter this comp, athletes must be 30 years or above on 31st December 2022. Age category is also based on athletes age on 31st December 2022

Each individual athlete will be able to track their ranking on our live MHQ leaderboard also found on our website.

Notes:
After the call of “3, 2, 1 … go,” the athlete may perform 45
pull-ups and 45 deadlifts.
Athletes may perform the movements in any order,
and the reps can be divided up in any manner.
There are no restrictions on the sequence or combinations
of movements or their corresponding repetitions.
The repetitions of one movement do not have to be completed
before the athlete can accumulate reps of another
movement.
Regardless of where athletes choose to begin the workout,
they must start fully standing, not touching any equipment.
Only after the call of “3, 2, 1 ... go” may the athlete touch the pull-up bar or barbell and begin the workout.
