About This Competition

2023 USAFF Masters Online Qualifier

USA Functional Fitness is looking for masters athletes to represent the USA at the International Functional Fitness Federation (IF3) Masters World Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from September 29 through October 1, 2023. Age groups represented for the Masters World Championships are as follows: 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+.  These age groups are based on your age as of December 31, 2023.  The top 3 men and women from each age group will represent the USA at the IF3 Masters World Championships. 

In order to earn your spot for the USA Functional Fitness Masters National Team, you will need to complete the USA Functional Fitness Masters online qualifier.  The online qualifier will be open from April 15, 2023 through May 14, 2023. In an attempt to minimize the number of qualifiers you need to complete, we will again use some of the tests from the CrossFit Quarterfinals for our qualifier. 

For those in the 30-34 age group, the following tests from the CrossFit Individual Quarterfinals will be used:

Skill test: Quarterfinals workout 1 (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/1?division=1)
Power test: Quarterfinals workout 3 (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/3?division=1)
Endurance test: Quarterfinals workout 4 (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/4?division=1)
Mixed test: Quarterfinals workout 5 (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/5?division=1)

For those in the age groups 35+, the following tests from the CrossFit Age Group Quarterfinals will be used:

Mixed test: Age Group Quarterfinals workout 1 https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/1)
Bodyweight test: Age Group Quarterfinals workout 2A (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/2)
Strength test: Age Group Quarterfinals workout 2B (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/2)
Endurance test: Age Group Quarterfinals workout 4 (https://games.crossfit.com/workouts/onlinequalifiers/2023/4)

As long as your scores are the same in Competition Corner as they are on the CrossFit Quarterfinals leaderboard, you do not need to submit a video with your score.  If you choose to repeat a test and have an improved score to submit, a video submission is required. Also, if you did not compete in the CrossFit Quarterfinals, a video submission is required.  Standards for video submission are in the links above.  The submission deadline is May 14, 2023 by midnight PST.
