About This Competition

Test all aspects of your fitness to become Scotland's Fittest Young Farmer 2025.

This solo event is open to registered SAYFC members as well as Park Farm S&F members.


2 separate categories will run on the day with sub divisions within each.

Category 1: SAYFC Members

  • Senior Female
  • Senior Male
  • Junior Female
  • Junior Male


Category 2: Park Farm Strength & Fitness Members

  • Open Female
  • Open Male


SAYFC's Fittest Young Farmer winners will come from the YF Male/Female categories.

Min 0-2: 300m Run

Min 2-3: 4 BB deadlifts

Min 3-4: 8 BB deadlifts

Min 4-6: 300m Run

Min 6-7: 12 BB deadlifts

Min 7-8: 16 BB deadlifts

Min 8-10: Run 300m

Min 10-11: 20 BB deadlifts

Min 11-12: 24 BB deadlifts

Min 12-14: Run 300m

Min 14: MAX BB deadlifts


Weight - 55kg Barbell

Sudden death style - score = finishing position according to order of drop out or number of reps on min 14

1 round for time:

50 DB snatch (10kg)

40 box step overs (2 x 7.5kg DBs/20 inch box)

20 cal row

20 burpee over the row

10 Sandbag over the shoulder (20kg)


12 Min Time Cap

60s max reps:

Ground to overhead using log (25kg)


2 min Rest


For time - 60s Time Cap:

Atlas Stones AND/OR Sandbags: 20kg/30kg/40kg/40kg/50kg from the ground on to 30 inch/40 inch/48 inch/54 inch/54 inch box

For time - 60s time cap:

20m ATV pull

60s max reps:

Sandbag toss over bar (10kg)
