About This Competition
2025 CrossFit Route 7 Sadie Hawkins Dance
Join us on Saturday, May 3rd for our third annual Sadie Hawkins competition! This co-ed partner competition has three divisions - Varsity (RX), Junior Varsity (Intermediate), and Club (Scaled) (NEW DIVISION)! Teams will compete across 5 scored events, with no surprise final.
Early bird pricing is available for the first 10 teams!
FAQS
When will the workouts be released?
WODs will be released by the end of January on the CrossFit Route 7 Sadie Hawkins Instagram.
What is the event schedule?
The event will begin at 8am, but a detailed schedule and specific event heat times will be released following the close of registration.
Can I bring my dog/cat to the event?
Pets are not allowed inside the gym.
Where should I park?
The parking map will be emailed to competitors prior to the competition date. Outdoor gym parking will be reserved for coaches and the athlete village.
What is the refund policy?
We are not giving refunds, but partner substitutes may be made prior to the close of registration on Saturday, April 12th 5pm EST.
What can I expect?
A Sadie Hawkins Dance T-shirt, a team goodie bag, prizes for podium teams, sponsors, and vendors (physical therapy, apparel, supplements, etc). Each team is guaranteed to compete in 5 events. There is no final event for top 5 finishers.

- Score: Time for both athletes to complete 15 Clean and Jerks
- The Female athlete will start with their 15 Clean and Jerks, with the Male athlete resting. After the completion of the 15 CJ, the Male athlete will begin their 15 reps.
- The Clean and Jerks can be completed with any variation. Any combination of Power Cleans or Squat Cleans and Shoulder to Overhead (Push Press, Push Jerk, Split Jerk) are allowed.

- Score: Time to Complete
- Box Jump Overs/Get Overs are synchronized when both athletes' feet are on the ground, not at the top of the box. Club Division athletes can do Step Overs, Box Jump Overs, or a mix of the two, as long as their hands do not touch the box.
- Athletes must run back to the starting line (25' from rig) when switching during the gymnastics movements. One partner will work on the T2B/C2B/BMU, while the other one rests. Gymnastics reps can be split in any way and there is no minimum work requirement for athletes (e.g. one athlete can technically do all of the Bar Muscle-Ups).

- Score: Total Synchro Lateral Burpees Over Bar
- Either partner can start on the Row, but the other partner must complete the Snatches, before both partners move on to the Synchro LBOB. Partners must switch Row/Snatch in the second 4:00.
- Power Snatches are from the floor. Squat Snatches or Hang Variations will not be accepted.
- Synchro LBOB are synchronized when both athletes' chests are on the ground. Athletes will jump over their own bars and stay on the same side as each other.

- One partner will complete part 1 in its entirety, before the other partner begins part 2. There is no M/F pair designation to either part.
- Athletes must remain seated on the Bike until the Calorie are fully completed (i.e. no rollover).
- Partner 2 may adjust Bike seat settings after Partner 1 completes their Bike Calories.
- RX athletes may NOT rest DB handles on their traps. The Front Rack position must have each DB head touching the athletes' shoulders.
