Battle In South Bay
About This Competition
Grab a partner and join the fun! One day event, same sex pairs functional fitness competition (MM/FF), Rx, Masters 75+, Masters 90+, Intermediate, and Scaled divisions.
Competition will consist of 4 workouts. Minimum 5+ scores. First workout will be released 8/23! Remaining workouts will be released every week after that on Instagram and comp corner.
Sign up before October 1st to receive shirts day of the comp. Registration for teams still allowed, but athletes are not guaranteed a shirt or their size. Parking map will be provided prior to event.

Split the row as desired, as long as both partners row at least once.
Time cap for Part B is 6:00 (13:00 including Part A).
*All divisions will row the same distances - 1600 for males, 1300 for females.
For reps:
AMRAP 4
40/32 Cal Echo Bike
Then max rounds of:
50' Sandbag carry + 5 SB Squats
*Partner B holds SB while Partner A is on bike, switch as desired
*Partner B dead hang while Partner A performs SB work, switch only after full rounds are completed.
Rx: 150/100 # SB
Int/70+: 100/80 # SB
Sc/90+: 35/28 Cals, 80/50 # SB
50' carry will be done via 4 x 12.5' shuttles, around cones at both sides.
