South Coast Carnage
About This Competition
South Coast Carnage brings to you:
• A mixed pairs one day crossfit competition
• A fun filled day to bring the communities together whilst testing your fitness amognst like minded people
Our event promises to bring a day of workouts which will test your fitness, skill levels, technical abilities & strength. All this is of course shared between your pair where communication & strategy is key!
That being said, our day will be achievable for all persons, so there will be a scaled option for some movements.
There will be prizes for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Prizes worth competing for
Now our priority for the day is fun. We want you all to, find new limits, push through current boundaries but above all, enjoy yourselves.
Spectators are free and we welcome pets, but please bare in mind there will be alot of noise / hustle & bustle.
There will be Tea, Coffee, Nocco & water available on the day provided by WCC.
Parking will be on site at White cliffs crossfit. A map will be put onto instagram account to show exactly where you can park. All parking is free
The safety of all competitors and spectators is essential to us so guidlines & rules will be in place for the day.
Unfortunately we have a no refund policy , but you can use Substitues / push your tickets over to another pair. Please just get hold of us via email or through our Instagram.
(Latest push of tickets / substitutes will be 1 week prior to game day)

- Double unders are to be doubled in reps as single unders for scaled
- Busters are to be done with kettlebell - (RX) 24kg / 16kg | (S) 16kg / 8kg
- A Buster is a burpee whilst holding KB to one side of the body, up into a KB cluster
Snatch complex
1 snatch, 1 hang snatch, 1 overhead squat
- Snatch can be a full (squat) or power
- Hang snatch must start from fully locked out hang position and cannot lower bar below the knees. Also can be full snatch or power
- Overheadsquat must be in a full locked out position overhead showing stability before starting the decent down. Squat position must break parallel before coming back up to a full lockout in the hips and knees to complete the rep / complex

40 Syncro Dumbell box step overs

20 Pistols
10 Strict Handstand push ups
Dumbells 22.5kg / 15kg - Syncro at top of rep in full extension
Step overs 22.5kg / 15kg - Syncro is start and finish at same time each side of box
TTB - Both toes must reach rig at same time
Pistols - single leg squat breaking parallel
Strict HSPU to be done flat to floor. Starting from the top, head touching the floor / mat then reaching full extension in the arms
